trust me its very very hard to choose a favorite when it comes to India.. But the reason why Rajasthan is my favorite and I'll visit once more is not only because of the centuries old beautiful palaces, the architecture that leaves you speechless, the beautiful landscapes, the camping on the deserts under the starlit sky.. It's because of how beautiful people are, they are one of the most hospitable, most friendly people I've come across. Rajasthani people were so helpful throughout my journey there and they'd go out of their way to help me for nothing in return, that left a big impression on me. And also everytime I go around the old palaces I feel like a rajput princess living my everyday life,.. Looking out at the lakes and town below from the palace windows.. It just takes me to different time and I get to experience a life so different from this era and from my own.

Rajasthan is considered among the number one tourist destinations in India. Amazing landscape, from green fields to desert (most of it is on the drier end though), the most amazing food you can find on earth, down to earth people, a great sense of shared community; don't even talk about culture - it's extremely vibrant, tonnes of colours- there's art, music and dance every where in Rajasthan; home to of the most of the royals from Indian history, it has numerous forts and palaces. You cannot help but fall in love with Rajasthan. If you want to visit preferred time is from Mid October till Mid February. Just like every state in India, it will be an entirely different yet amazing experience. The guy in blue paint on the bicycle isn't wearing paint because it is something traditional as such, he is impersonating Lord Krishna as he supposedly a folk artist. You can actually find many folk artists throughout the country. It is just another form of art.
