And not just try tacos, nachos, quesadilla, and burritos but mole (like she said), enchiladas, tostadas, tres leches, horchata, etc. (but I do understand that getting certain ingredients is difficult since they are in Korea.)

@dionshadow
@dionshadow 9 месяцев назад
It's the same in Japanese! It's パン, or pan. Bread wasn't eaten very much in Japan before the Spaniards came, so they used the Portuguese word for it pão. They ended up changing the pronunciation a little bit so they can say it a little easier, so now it's pan!

"pico de gallo" is a mix between tomatoes, onion, coriander and sometimes chilli to make it spicy and you can add it to a dish like the quesadillas or molletes to make the dish fresh. the traduction of the name would be "rooster's beak" but I don't really know why it's called like that

In my family, they would roll up a tortilla with a litte bit of salt and eat it like that or hand them to children especially when eating soup. If u had a salsa then you'd make a taco de salsa or if u had avocado you'd do that too. My mom even told me that her dad would bring baby avocados and she and her siblings would put salt on them and eat them just like that. 🥰

3:40 "pico de gallo" a type of salsa that is basically not as finely chopped or puree'd as the typical salsa. It's made out of jalapeños, onion and tomatoes that are diced.

My parents are from Mexico, Sinaloa and we own a few authentic Mexican Food Trucks in California and we sell Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, and Tortas and my parents do put rice in the burritos but maybe from where she's from they don't. And yes I also agree that alot of traditional Mexican food has tortillas or something made of corn obviously because that's what we had a lot of back in the day.

3:40 It’s called “pico de gallo!” It’s a common topping for tacos or burritos in Hispanic cuisine, and it includes diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro and (optionally) jalapeños. It’s topped with lime juice for an extra kick and taste of flavor. Some people love to add the tiniest bit of olive oil just for a bit more taste. It’s a tasty, low calorie topping that pairs exceptionally well with the complex flavors found in burritos and tacos. It’s so delicious!

Ms. Ma’am we DO put rice in burritos maybe just not in your region but all the burritos I have ever had have rice in them
3 года назад
Where tho? I've eaten burritos in NL, Tamaulipas, Coahuila, Chihuahua & Baja California Sur (Chihuahua's being the best, montados are the bomb!) and I have never seen any burrito with rice in it (and putting rice in a flour tortilla just sounds kinda wrong). Putting rice in a burrito is pretty much a US thing.

Like you said it depends on the region, I’ve lived in a lot of states here in Mexico and I’ve only had rice in the burritos in one of them and it was more of like a taco de arroz rojo, so neither of you are wrong, just from different regions ^~^
