I'm not a big fan of Scotch but I can have a finger or two of Glenmornagie ever now and then. It might be because I went to the distillery tour when I visited Scotland in 2019. Just a little biased.

I think they need to do a bourbon video again, loved the 1st one. have they done something like RUM? or a tropical drink set, like Pina Coladas etc, Beamaide (Jim Beam and Lemonade) Long Island Iced teas and other hard mixed drinks that kick your ass, a few of the Honey flavored like Beam and Jack honey etc. so many still to do! they are so entertaining trying all these. :)
This just proved what everybody knows, that people have different tastes. But watching the OSSC channel, you know these people who are on often, so it was fun to see what their individual tastes were. Nice video. I rate it thumbs up lol 👍😊.
Having years ago interviewed Britain's top whiskey expert, and then gawped at rare bottles of whiskey with crazy prizes like £27,000 or £50,000, I can tell you that Irish whiskey was regarded as the world's best whiskey until the 1930s, and Prohibition in America, when alcohol was banned. Irish whiskey makers stopped selling to America - but clever Scottish whiskey makers were smart enough to sell to Canada, where alcohol wasn't banned, and Scottish whiskey was smuggled across the border into America, creating interest and customers. Then when Prohibition ended, it took Ireland years to reestablish trade with America, which by then was more used to Scottish whiskey after years without Irish whiskey. In truth, both Scottish and Irish whiskey are today regarded as the world's best, equally.
The two guys together were very funny. And the guys spoke honestly about what they liked and didn’t like and why. Haejin and Minji were just visibly getting more tipsy and into drunk land as the video went on.
I'm a whisk(e)y drinker. Brings a smile to see normal people talk about how they felt about these brands. Wish they had the redbreast 12 for Ireland instead of the mainstay Jameson. Redbreast12 is creamy/vanilla, hint of oloroso sherry cask, and warm shortbread; absolutely wonderful.
I think I'll go with the ranking as confirmed by Chacha and Rua. 😅 Pretty sure I can trust Rua's judgement based on his prior experience and Chacha seems to have a very sensitive palate and good instinct.
@Mar_Man I actually thought the brothers had the coolest reaction and weren’t over reacting or underrating the drinks just because one might have a stronger or bitter taste.
This was a great reaction to whiskies. It shows clearly the best whisky. The best whisky only exists for each person's palette, you need to try a lot before you find your taste and don't try to push that taste onto others.
Love the video, how about trying Smokey Islam whiskey next time. Laphroig, Ardbeg, Lagavulin. Try those in next whiskey video guys, it’ll be surprising!

Buffalo Trace is ok. Big fan of 1792 Small Cask, Four Roses Single Barrel, and Angels Envy Cask Strength. Would love to see a reaction to any of these as they're a different beast from Buffalo. I especially love to watch Chacha react.
Need to add Kentucky and Tennessee Bourbons to the mix. Try Woodford Reserve. Smooth and doesn’t burn your throat out. It will sneak up on you if you over do it..
It's fun watching drink reviews to compare tastes especially since I prefer whiskey, but as an American I also sometimes wonder who does this? I would personally only drink half of those alone cause some taste like bog water and need to be drowned in Coca-Cola lmao
Have them try some stuff from other parts of the world. Some Gran Sidra Real Black Black Label from Argentina or some great Argentine and Australian wines.
The Famous Grouse is only popular because it is cheap. Bell's or Glenfiddich would be a better choice, however if you want premium then a nice 12 year Bunnahabhain. Also Bourbons are not whiskies, I don't care what Americans say they use a similar process of making it but it is different ingredients all together. It is like saying you can build a Ferrari car with a cheap Ford car parts.
I live in Kentucky where we make Buffalo Trace and it is not a Whiskey it is a Bourbon, There is a difference. Bourbon can only be labeled as such if it is made in Kentucky everything else is Whiskey, The best is Pappy van winkle and hard to get
You said in the intro that you bought whiskeys from the US, UK, Scotland & Canada but the first whiskey you brought out was Irish???? If this means you think Ireland is in the UK you would be very wrong and it's slightly offensive to Irish people. Ireland is not in the UK but Scotland is so i'm confused on the distinction in the intro between UK & Scotland?
The reason Famous Grouse is so popular here is because it's cheap shite alcoholics buy all the time - not because it's good or particularly beloved. Literally ANY other Scottish whiskey would have been better. Love, a Scotsman.
