As a foreigner who does taekwondo...I’m disappointed that they chose clips from someone so sloppy and then two kids on a talent show :/ still a cool topic.

RIGHT! Even I as someone who does not know anything at all about martial arts could tell that it was incredibly sloppy and boring.

Aww!! My son studied Taekwondo with a Korean master for six years. He quit after reaching his second degree black belt and I miss it soooo much! My favorite thing in life was to sit there three nights every week and watch him and his classmates learn. I will always be a TKD Mom at heart

Taekkondo one of my favorite sports, since really young. Took some classes in high school ( it was part of my P. E class) unfortunately my teacher focus more in teaching the boys in the class. So learn the minimum of basics.

Im starting kick boxing on Wednesday but not seriously. It’s a class through my gym just like hip hop and Zumba. We all just trying to get fit again this year I suppose lmao I have been I interested in martial arts for some time but was too lazy to do it.

I love TaeKwonDo. I am a 1st Degree here in the US. I am certified through the Kukkiwon which is based in Korea and is a worldwide certification. I learned Discipline, Respect, Focus, Good Listening Skills, etc. and I seen so many people grow from doing the classes. It is more than the kicks and punches. Anyone age 4+ can do it and I am 26 years old. I have been doing it for 9 years.

I loved these style of martial arts with the fancy high athletic kicks , but unfortunately I was built for the less glamorous grappling martial art like judo & wrestling...lol...😅🤣😂

Black belt is the last belt but then there are the master levels called Dan and there are 9dans and he is in the first dan still very impressive

Taekwondo isnt sport its martial art in one on one combat it is very effective aside xridoli and its most powerful move is back kick which can generate 1500lbs(680) kg force it feels like getting hit by a small car
