At least they paid attention to the lyrics and picked up that Luis mentioned his island Puerto Rico and they asked if it was part of south America. It's good to educate the reactors on the culture and origin so they can also get the mood
I concur no apologies needed. Come visit but wait for a year or so. We are still recovering from the last hurricane in 2017. 👍 with all our love from Puerto Rico.
"I don't know what they're saying, but I like it" Same for me watching kpop videos. How the tables have turned. 😂 Greetings from Puerto Rico🇵🇷, pearl of the Caribbean sea. Thanks for reacting.
I'm starting to notice that when u guys think of Spanish countries u only think of Spain or south American specifically Brazil, there are a ton of Spanish speaking countries other then south American, Puerto Rico (my country) is one of them, we do not all speak the same type of Spanish either , we don't all eat the same types of food , Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee are both Puerto Rican, this video was filmed in Puerto Rico,
I'm Korean but I live in Canada, and yes I know where Puerto Rico is and understand that it's also technically an American territory that is unincorporated into the state system. I honestly wanted to post a comment in Korean telling this video author to maybe let people who watch the videos know the origins of the singers or what not and give some back story, not just for this video for everything else too. It's ridiculous that we as Koreans don't like to be told we're the same as Chinese or Japanese by foreigners, yet a lot of Koreans do the exact same thing about the Spanish speaking countries especially those in South America. Your thought in the comments is 100% true, they don't know the differences between Brazil (Portuguese) or Argentina (Spanish), they think that everything "latin" is originated from Mexico (preposterous), they have no clue how to pronounce Chile, think that Ecuador is an island, that the only person that lives in Uruguay is Suarez, THAT BOLIVIA IS IN EUROPE AND NICARAGUA IS IN AFRICA (true story I've asked many fellow Koreans and I facepalm everytime), they even equate Venezuela equals the Vuvuzela, and they don't know the different nuances between the types of Spanish. On behalf of all of them, I apologize if these ignorant people offended you, and I blame it on the half ass geography education these kids get, if EVER, compared to the subjects that appear on University entrance exams.
I could not help but to notice your coment and the word "preposterous". Do you have something against Mexico or something? Trust me, not all koreans think that everithing comes from Mexico, MOST of the koreans I've met don't even know where Mexico is located, some actually told me "Oh Mexico, that's in Europe" others didn't even knew that Mexico exist. Most of time they say Brazil when we say Latinamerica. And by your actitud you sounded so mucho like Trupm. I agree with you that is really anoying and ofensive when all koreans in Korean VR say "Oh South America" because they are fading Central America and North America (Latin America has one part in north america: Mexico). And that is ofensive, at the beggining we latins said, "it's ok, they don't know" but after some YEARS is anoying to keep hearing this kind of comments in the boy and girls in this kind of videos. So yeah, you should tell your korean fellows to just refer to latinamericans as just Latins, and not as South Americans. And when you mentioned "the half ass geography education these kids get in korea", trust me we've noticed that long time ago, because koreans say a lot of nonsens in the video reactions, and most of them are really ofensive, and not only about geography, to the point that no matter how much patience Latin people has, it reaches the point where patience is lost.
Enrique Duarte I don't blame them, but just like Koreans don't like to b called Chinese or Japanese, us Spanish people don't like that either, people from South America are Latina, people from the island Spanish speaking countries are Hispanic
Enrique Duarte You got my message all wrong. I meant that it is Preposterous that KOREANS to ASSUME that EVERY SINGLE LATIN thing came ONLY from Mexico. That is how they think, and I think I know more about Koreans than you ever will.
So friking glad Korean people enjoy this song.. feel so proud to be boricua and love my Puerto Rico :) this is the purpose of the song join people together :)
For those who run this tube, Puerto Rico is located in the caribbean. It is a U.S. territory with a non-voting Resident Commissioner in the House of Representatives. Just information to enlighten. :-)
" DESPACITO " MEANS " SLOWLY " /PUERTO RICO IS AN ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN SEA/ THE SONG HAS DIFFERENT VERSIONS/ THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR MUSIC ( PUERTO RICAN MUSIC ) WE HAVE VERY RICH CULTURE IN ALL ASPECTS, AND MANY FAMOUS ARTIST. I INVITED YOU TO LEARN FROM OUR BEUTIFUL PEOPLE.....PECE GOD IS LOVE .P.S. THANK YOU KOREA❤.
Latinoamerica is divided in: Northamerica= México Centralamerica and Southamerica with many countries, Puerto Rico the place of the video is not Southamerica.
Not South America, not Spain, but a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea. To be exact it is the neighborhood of La Perla, City of San Juan, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, United States of America.
Its Puerto Rican. Its located in North America Carribean next to Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. The dance is Reggaeton and yes Latins do dance like that. Yes the women and men are beautiful but they do not all look like that it is genetically diverse. Despacito is translated as the word slowly.
Is Puerto Rico a country? I'm also Asian like them but I know that PR isn't a country, its a US Commonwealth..people there are American citizens..and their President is Trump..lol
Panama and above (including the Caribbean islands) is North America. Colombia and below is South America. A "Latin American country" is any romance language speaking (especially Spanish and Portuguese) country in the Americas.
Shakira ft Maluma Chantaje ❤ I like your video they talk in a good volume not too loud everything perfect Can you react please to German Rap "Ohne mein Team " ❤❤❤
THIS CARIBEAN IS LATIN AMERICA AS IN PUERTO RICO. AND SHE IS PUERTO RICO MISS UNIVERSE SHE WON FOR PUERTO RICO PLUS LUIS FONSI AND DADDY YANKEE WERE BORN IN PUERTO RICO. AND SO DID MY PARENTS. THEY STILL LIVE THERE
My Fellow Korean's not everthyn comes from South America😂 this song and the artist and thr women in this video are 100% Puertoricans. Puerto Rico is a Beautiful and Small Island in the Caribbean we are part of the United States (USA) 👌🏼❤ The video Represent our beautiful culture as Latinos and as Caribbeans
America is divided in three: North America, Central America and South America. Not all latinos are from South America. Not every Latino country is in South America. God pls
America goes from North Pole to South pole, North America is Canada, Mexico and the US, then Central America and the caribean, South America Starts in Colombia and Venezuela. Puerto Rico is in the Caribbean
react to zhangbichen, she is a Chinese singer that gradually famous in music industry with her OST of several Chinese drama, she has a great and unique voice too
Why do most koreans assume a Spanish song is from South America? It's clearly Puerto Rico...American territory and soon to be the 51st state. 2nd, most Latin people here in the morning in 🇺🇸 are mexican. It's clearly regaeton dance
Loved your reactions! This is a great collaboration! Daddy Yankee is the king of urban music! React to remix of ROMPE w/Lloyd Banks. Also, Daddy Yankee w/Fergie! HOT! Blessings from NYC!
SpawnOfSatann Im aware..Im puerto rican..but the carribean has its own culture which PR is a part of..its much more influenced by that than it it being a US territory. The culture and dance is influenced by its location in the carribean as the cultural mixes there were different than the other countries in the americas..latin america would also be technically correct.
vianjelos I understand. I wasn't trying to say that the US influences PR I just wanted to put it out there but it's my fault for assuming that you didn't know, my apologies
Well people, all of us are human beings, so we live in our own island called Earth, so let's be free guys wujuuuuuu Viva Puerto Rico....a dot in this big island in the middle of infinity space
