They had everything basically as they even called whole bollywood industry and indian big people as welll. First one is the richest but the normal ones are also crazy expensive especially gujrati weddings. In India, the rich people of India do not just get married but marry within their family and not all their relatives are rich, they are middle class and poor too. It is not compulsory that if you are having a rich wedding then all your guests should be rich and all the relatives, whether they are middle class or poor class, everyone gets the same respect that everyone should get i.e. equal. And Indian wedding is not based on Aladdin story, it is totally different, whether they are rich , middle and poor their way of doing wedding may be a little different but Indian culture is excited and there is that much more excitement than the weddings of other countries.
