Hi, OSSC fans! There was an error in the RU-vid system resulting audio not being synced properly. Please understand as I have already sent a request to fix the issue.
In one of them, the girl was wearing a strapless dress and no visible bra, but the bra being advertised had straps. And there was no indication that he straps could come off.
TLDR; - Korean shows underwear CM - Viewer: Are you advertising a suit? Korean ad: No it's underwear. - Korean shows sexually suggestive CM - Viewers and Parents: - files complaints and lawsuits on the internet board for being to sexually suggestive - - - Western shows underwear CM - Viewer: Oh, it's an underwear ad.
@@evehormaeche Yes, they are, i didn't say that they aren't. But nakedness is a big no go there and everything related to it is taboo. Basically the complete opposite of the West.
I wasn’t even aware of the differences between the US and Korea on these commercials as we in the US don’t get to see Korean commercials at all. This was cool to see the differences! Thanks, fun to watch!! 👍🏻☺️
The Airie commercial was the best, because it shows the underwear in a natural way and in different bodies. Some focused more on models' bodies than underwear and others on covering underwear
Jes GG You literally just tried to sabotage my entire Argument against a Racist her Nationality is Relevant in this case and she’s Hispanic with African Ancestory. Dude talking about us seeking “Black Validation” and I’m calling him out on how stupid he sounds.
tbh those korean commercials wouldn't really motivate me to buy the bras.. especially the ones where you couldn't them wearing the bra at all and it was just shown seperately😅
Get them to react to teen movie makeovers in Korean films vs American films. It'd be interesting to see what they think of the differences in pressures and expectations put on physical appearance.
The model from Fila Intimo...listen...she is fire haha. I didn't expect any of the Korean commercials to catch me off guard but she came on the screen and I clearly changed my mind.
I was screaming with laughter 😂 wow as an Asian American myself I never noticed the differences between underwear ads from my country and ones from the US. The dudes totally loved the Victoria’s Secret ad which was absolutely hilarious 😂 The girls felt weird with the Calvin Klein ad which deep down I’m sure they thought was hawt (well I certainly thought so lol 😆). Loved seeing all their reactions!
The guys were admiring the dude in the underwear commercial and the girls were all embarrassed to be looking at it. I think that's a great representation of how things are.
Unpopular Opinion: Korean culture needs to be more comfortable with basic human qualities, including bodies and sex. These people respond to these things like they're 12.
Austin, Jaeyeol, Cha cha, MJ, Heejin & Minji are GREAT! I love their reactions! Austin & Jaeyeol are so funny! They checked themselves to see if they had underwear on (I know it was a joke but it was funny)! Austin made me laugh when he said that he did not know "Yes" was an underwear commercial. Austin & Jaeyeol's "AH/OH!" at 2:07 was hilarious! This was so much fun to watch!
Korean ads emphasizes more on underwear beneath the clothing while American ads emphasizes on how you'll actually look with it. I guess Koreans are a bit shy in revealing full body underwear, a cultural thing.
Koreans react to TV dramas in Korea Vs. Other countries/U.S. I'm American so I'm only familiar with what's airing in the States and I watch Kdrams too so, I'd love to see what other countries like to watch! These are some of my favs/suggestions! I'll try not to overlap them with what your reactors have already seen and I'll try to keep the genres varied! - The Good Doctor (which is an American remake of the Korean drama of the same name): medical drama - Euphoria: teen/coming of age drama - American Horror Story: horror, suspense, thriller - The Good Place: Drama, comedy - Criminal Minds (there is a Korean remake too!): Crime, action - 13 Reasons Why: mystery, drama - New Girl: Comedy, romance - The Witcher: fantasy, action - The Handmaid's Tale: si-fi, drama - This is Us: family, contemporary drama
Duluth, Aerie and culprit underwear are right my alley, rest was too uncomfortable to watch because even if their severed their purpose they were all too much for me. The men’s ones especially. The other 3 were smart and simple
I think it was more about how ripped the guy was. While there is a workout culture in KOR, it’s not as big as in the US. Also we have a lot of very muscular sports stats.
The point of having sexy models in underwear ads is not to seduce the veiwers rather make the veiwers see themselves looking sexy and feeling sexy wearing the under wear the model is showing, this gives them a sense of confidence. So this means Korean ads about underwear are pointless 😂😂
This was interesting. Almost every time I saw a Korean underwear commercial, I was like- is she even wearing the bra? How can you tell? She could have Spanx on making her shape look great and you wouldn't know.
Can you do a "koreans react to Eurovision song contest?" This song contest have a pretty decent amount of fans and is the world's biggest live music event (according to google). I've seen a bunch of americans react to it, and it would be fun to se some reactions from south korea :) *EDIT*: tHEY Actually did a react to ESC and I am so happy about it! Here's the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-b18K16TUS74.html
underwear ads were the most annoyingly nerve wracking thing when watching tv at night while everyone’s asleep. my dad might come downstairs at any moment and just burst open the door and question me, like please quickly get the fuck off the screen.
I just realized that the woman from the commercial shown in 2:30 is one of the actors from 'The Last Empress' She was the sister of Oh Sunny!! If I'm wrong well then sorry!! But she does kinda look like her.
Ha Ji Won is so beautiful. Vegetable advert and woman with flame thrower were my fav adverts. Im guessing due to Korean Culture is why they dont show underwear in their adverts. More the bras with clothes. Is this correct?
What's the point in having a commercial to show off a product, if you don't even show the product itself. People buying the underwear need to see what they want to buy.
The first Korean advertisement was a somewhat wtf moment xD I am not from the US but from a european county where we get to see some US advertisements as well but ours aint that much different from them either...so...
Korean commercials show the actors wearing the underwear under clothes, US ones tend to show them in only the underwear and make it as sexy as possible for some reason
I guess for koreans they receive harsher criticism than US, that's why they wear clothes on top of bras n panties in ads..so it's not their fault its the society.
if there werent subtitles, and i didnt know i was watching a yt video about underwear, i wouldn't have guessed that what the korean ads are advertising
