Korg Drumlogue With A MIDI Controller Is A Game Changer 

Every synth/drum machine should be equipped with a USB-A or USB-C port for that purpose. So many great MIDI controllers are out there, and it would be much better than dealing with chunky MIDI cables that don't power those USB controllers.

Here's how you configure it: First, configure your KORG DRUMLOGUE AS FOLLOWS: - Press SHIFT+LIVE[GLOBAL] - Press RS/7 ---- Set Channel to 1-12 (Note, you need Firmware upgrade 1.1) ---- Route: Pick your MIDI Connection (USB or USB+MIDI] Here’s how to map your LaunchPad Pro MK3 to Drumlogue like in the video, using Novation Components: 1. Launch Components 2. Create a New Custom Mode, Save it and call it “Korg Drumlogue” DRUM MACHINE ROW For the Bottom part, drag a “Midi Note” as follows (R=ROW, C=COL): a. Confirmed to work (on my D'Logue): Korg NanoKey Studio and Nanocontrol Studio, Donner Starrypad. Novation Launchpad mini Mk3 isn't detected by the Drumlogue.

How do I get to the midi channel?

How come the host of the video isn't answering any of the questions in here,specially the biggest issue with the Drumlogue, is the midi implementation? Every forum I have scanned about this issue and nobody has an answer. This guy has it mapped perfectly and remains hush about how its done. Wtf dude???!

Somebody needs to make a video explaining how to connect a controller to the Drumlogue. I've tried the AKAI MPK Mini, the AKAI LPD 8, and when neither of those worked I bought a KORG nanoKEY Studio, which also did not work. I would love more than anything to be able to play this thing from a controller that has pads and a synth on it. I just can't seem to figure it out and the internet is devoid of this type of information. HALP!!

Still can't make the Drumlogue worth using - the machine is predominantly sample based, the analogue voices are kick (okay), snare (okay) and toms (limited). Analogue claps and hats would have made a huge difference. Instead we're treated to boring samples for these channels. And the SDK instruments at the moment are actually pretty good but programming them within the box is a nightmare due to Korg's sub-par attempt to mimic the Elektron sequencer.

What about midi 😂 ?
