Los dos son buenos,(yo tengo ambos). Korg es bueno para pads,pianos,sonidos orquestales,mejores combis,pantalla tactil y facilidad de uso. Roland es mejor como sintetizador,mas variedad de sonidos sobretodo electronicos,leads mejores,pads de roland tipicos,buenos hammonds y en general mas prestaciones.
At some point I’ve bought both ( not at the same time) they both went back. They are really for beginner players. The krome is a water down and recycled Triton (with a slightly better acoustic piano.) And the Roland Fa was really not my cup of tea. If saving money is the point or if it’s for a beginner than I think the Korg Kross 2 is a better option I would recommend to anyone to spend the extra money and get a Yamaha MODX or a used MOXF or Motif these are way better all around. And if a realistic piano is what you want look no further than a Nord. If I was on a deserted island and I could only have one of these Fa or Krome Imwould have to say Krome.
I owned both, but not the Krome Ex, a bit better than the Krome. I think Krome has a better sound, but the Fa is built much better. Specially the keybed, i have had the worse luck with this krome keybed, i do not think these are beginners board, my opinion, but they are not FLAGSHIPS, simply a cheaper version, after all there is a Market for all. I would consider beginners board, the every day Yamaha's prs followed by some number, very limited and real cheesy sounds, many of these sounds in both boards are descent from the box, a little tweak and you saved yourself THOUSANDS, But again, these are not Kronos, or Montages, or Nord, neither is the price.
Obviously the Roland sounds better. Korg has come a long way. And the Krome can edit the sound as well. But korg never had it down with Pianos outside of the Kronos and nautilus.
