WAIT what? The first one is Casio? I thought it's the second one cuz the sustain is noticeably shorter. Still, the Piano 1 sounds better in my opinion. Piano 2 feels more 'electronic'.
both pianos sound "good enough". the questions are : 1) which keyboard is more realistic? 2) are casio functions required indeed? 3) (the main) which discount gives the nearest shop to these items
Yes, the Casio (#1) has more of those metallic overtones when played hard. But is it a good thing and is it more realistic or is it over-the-top? I don't know because I don't have a real Steinway to try with. My main problem with Casio is the dull sound in the middle register like at 3:35. I guess in part it's a characteristic of the Steinway that Casio sampled, but somehow it's exaggerated in Casio and I don't hear the same in real (acoustic) Steinway recordings or other digital instruments.
