Very interesting work. I was watching a biographical documentary on BBC iPlayer last night, about the film composer, Hans Zimmer. Although I have great reservations about his work and his influence, it was fascination on how he came to do what he does and his adventurous attitude to sound design in particular is both technically grounded and playful. He was working with a huge modular system in the early days and was well placed to assimilate technologies as they arrive, keeping his work ahead of his contemporaries. Overall, my deepest impression is of the joy that he finds in twiddling with sound which I suspect is similar to yours.
Thanks, yeah I think it's really cool that it's there. Makes the Minilogue also a really great companion for a modular setup with its ability to play chords. I often times have it playing sustained chords forever with a closed filter and the I'll have a eurorack envelope open the filter.
