Addendum: A subsequent conversation with the Korg distributor shed some light on this point of criticism. In fact, there is a "hack" that allows you to play open and closed sounds on just one pad. To do this, you have to connect a hi-hat controller to the socket for the expression pedal and define that two different pads - one for the open sound and the other for the closed sound - are addressed when the pedal is pressed and released (Pad Exchange). If you select one of the channels A to D (external pads) for the second pad you can play the open/closed hi-hat on a single pad.
I like my MPS 10 a lot but I have no luck getting a custom kit build with what Korg calls their ‚editor‘. I contacted Korg months ago with questions not answered in the manual and get a weekly automated response apologizing for their delayed response. I am curios if you had any luck creating your own custom kits using the layers with 8 sounds each you‘ve mentioned at the beginning of your video, which I really enjoyed watching, by the way.

Sadly, I bought it but it’s not sufficiently sensitive for my taste so I am returning it already. As you also show in the video, delicates strokes are not registered. I am really disappointed by it.
Hi there! It would help to make a demonstration on how we can import and load sounds and loops from usb to kits and pads. And how to synchronize and run backing track WITH A CLICK for a band. (SUB OUT the Click for drummer in ear)
