I prefer the sx900 for the sound quality, user friendly navigation, and nice sounding styles.

if you can't handle the instrument, don't say it's worse. In terms of the edition, the Korg eats Yamaha for breakfast. Yamaha's keystroke quality is still poor. I had the SX at home for 3 weeks and took it to the store and bought the Pa 1000. Great instrument, better made, better keys and the TC Helicon which is much better than the whole VH 2 which sounds like a robot from Yamaha.

SX900 sounds more modern , PA1000 sounds classic (not a bad thing). It is depend on personal preference, some people prefer classic sounds and some prefer modern.

lol no, i have a portable recorder i use. not really the best way but at least i'm using the same thing to record both.

At least I have never seen anyone did it with the equivalent quality on PA700 or 1000 yet. Prove it if u made one on PA1000 with the factory voices.

The Yamaha sx 900 did not impress me much compared to the PSR s 975. It sounds a bit better but has no WOW effect. I had the Korg PA 700 for a short time and there the bass and drums sounded like I had a small band at home. Yamaha is still flat and candy in that regard. Besides the execution.
