2 styles at once? Reminding me to the Roland VA-series I used to play Latin Rock with Dangdut. Good, now we can have this function again after gone for how many years. Keroncong and Cha2 may be interesting. Thank you for showing to us before we get one.

I can think of one song off the top of my head that this would really work well on, 'On Green Dolphin Street', switching from jazz to Bossa and back.

So many options with 2 players… like selecting few tracks from both styles to create a new style… or just using a style and a song, you could have them run at the same time and mute all song tracks while using the score and chords in the score track to play a song you don’t know from your head .. On top of that, you can use the 16 pads to trigger audio effects and even loops, i talked to the Belgium korg product manager and he said that korg will be adding more tools to synchronize audio and midi.. The interface is allmost everything an arranger players dreamed about.. it adds to the freedom and musicallity

Hello, when 2 styles and pads are playing together and when you press the ending, does that end both the styles or just one? I saw that the second style was still Playing after the ending. Could you confirm please. Thanks.

Hi Leigh, thanks for your very in depth tutorials and information on the Pa5x. I have a Pa4x and love it, it’s such a great all round keyboard. I use it extensively for backing shows with singers using midi files and mp3’s. As well as using midi files on their own, I use them to create a hybrid band by muting the parts to be played live, and send a click to the live musicians via output 1. With mp3’s this has not been possible as I can’t find a way to assign seq 2 with the click on it to output 1 or 2. My question is, can the pa5x now do this?

Hello, great videos, very informative :-) I have a couple of questions on the pa5x that the internet is not answering! I have a Genos and are familiar with what is known as 'single fingered' chords or 'easy' on my Roland ie to play a C major, I press C I assume this function is still available, seems to be? Also, I love the multipads on the Genos, are there a similar amount of assignable options on the Korg? Thanks! :-)

I have got play 1 song in 4/4 ballad, and change to 3/4 ballad on Refrain... It's a nice song.

Great Explanation , my question is Can one of the players be used to play an audio file wave or Mp3 as a backing groove sample in sync with the style tempo ?

Nice video! Please let me know how many of user sound slot 5x have. I have read Pa5X specs on website say that it have 768 user sound slot and 384 drumkit slot like the Pa4X. Does this true? Thank you and so sorry for my bad english!

Please, Can you make a video about all Settings/ Menu pages? We want to know about all functions available Like Midi settings Style Elements lock Velocity curve Sustain/ Expression pedal calibration .... Etc.... PA5x PDF manual is not available until now.

…so the intros and endings have chord changes built into the style. The chords would definitely conflict with each other. How does the PA5x handle this?

Is it worth exchanging my 4 for a 5. Are the sounds and styles much improved to quantify my outlay. The two style engines alone isn’t worth it for me. Thanks

I’ve owned a Korg pa4x for years, use it at my gigs. It looks like Korg took away the ec5 foot switch option???? I sure hope not! I use the ec5 to control the drums and fills in real time at ALL my gigs! Is there another option for control of stops, start, fills, a b c d sections with a foot switch of any kind? Man, I sure hope so, or I can’t buy this amazing new PA5!

Your keyboard played 1/2 step out of tune throughout your video. Maybe you had a transpose switch engaged the whole time ?

Can you load the two styles from different Sets or KSTs in Pa5x's case? what would be amazing is if the keyboard load the styles from two different Sets.
