I would always encourage giving them a good rinsing once you get home. I never let any of my gear sit after being in salt water, even if "salt water safe". I've not found anything online saying they're not salt water rated though. Always err on the side of caution, it's less hassle in the long run. Thank you for your question!
Yeah JB, the OmniTrax sole is one of the main reasons I wanted to try these out! I've wiped out too many times in felt soles on muddy trails and these new boots will be great! Thanks for commenting brother, always appreciated!! 😀👍🎣
@@GoesTo11 It appeared to me from the video that the soles you swapped with the felt soles were not made by Vibram but rather were the Kling On Sticky Sole made by Korkers which is not the same as the Vibram soles.
@@milanbogdanovic6120 thank you, I stand corrected. After reading some other literature, I see you would be correct about the name of the material is indeed not "Vibram", rather it is the "Klingon Sticky Rubber". Good eyes on you Milan and thanks for pointing it out. 😎👍🎣
Hi John, thank you for watching and commenting. I use them all the time and absolutely LOVE them! They are super comfortable and durable. I was wondering how the replaceable soles would be for durability with swapping them off and on and they have held up with no signs of fatigue. I carry the soles with me when I go fishing so I can swap to whatever I need for grip. The cleats work really well in mud and on rocks, felts are super on rocks and the plain rubber soles are what I use when walking on regular ground. No problems with the toes when kneeling down either. I was also wondering how durable the BOA cable lacing system would be and I got to say, I have not had any problems. In fact, they are extremely convenient when putting on and taking off the boots - WAY easier than laces and you don't have to worry about them coming undone and tripping. I have had other brands of wader boots but going forward, these are the only ones I would consider. Give them a try, I am certain you won't be disappointed. You can order from the link in the video description. I hope you have subscribed to our channel, lots of great content if you're into fishing (or other hobbies). Stay safe out there! Cheers, Rick
