Korn definitely has a special place in my heart. They have a signature groove that is unmatched, and the emotion behind every song is prevalent in the music. I haven’t seen them live yet. I wanna see Korn live while I’m still in high school. I’m sure that it’ll be the best show I’ll ever see:)🤘🏼
This is a rare treat, a song Jon played only when this album came out at Woodstock. It's an awesome song and should always be in their concert repertoire.

Might be a bit of a stretch, but I think of this song as kind of like the Daddy of Follow the Leader. Not as incredibly hard for Jon to perform, but it's up there. You can still feel the emotion nearly 20 years later.
Ryan Stroup Their first 5 albums follow the pattern of having the big emotional climax at the end. Korn- Daddy Life is Peachy- Kill You Follow the Leader- My Gift to You Issues- Dirty Untouchables- No One’s There Slipknot did the same thing too with their first 2 albums. I guess it must’ve just been a Ross Robinson thing.

Alex Johnson this was actually one of the first songs they wrote. If you go back and watch videos of a backyard show they did, they did bits of this song. It was completely written in this form until follow the leader. So indeed they had this song, or at least a big portion of it written, since 93. Also, in that same video, you can see an earlier version of blind before they completed it in the studio for their first album. Sounds much better with the album version. Lol. Fun facts. 👌🤘
@aktuber101 He probably said that at the end because he didn't know if he was going to finish the song. Especially with what happened to Deven (rest in peace), this song and JD OD'ing his mother and wife all in one year was rough on him. I think he wanted to prove those that would say anything dumb like "Pfft! He can't sing it all!" And HE proved THOSE FUCKERS WRONG! (I want to give him a hug. Poor Jonathan...)
This song got me through a rough and tormenting relationship.... It gives me flashbacks but I thank KoRn and Jonathan Davis in general.... For more than one reason.... If Jonathan was reading this right now; I love and worship every little thing you've done and how you've impacted the music industry and your multiple fans, including me. This entire fan base is about caring for one another and how we get through such difficult times... And there's no other greater band to thank than KoRn themselves. Love you guys forever.

Everytime I hear it .feel what he's feeling..as a song writer, at least for me writing is an expression of everything..your life.. Jonathan has always been able to give us so much we can relate to.
Unto this day, I still can't hear what he's actually saying. I hear what I want to hear and then, I see the lyrics on Google! I always thought he said "Lady, you are my precious lot of gold" but, it's "There you are, my precious Not long ago" and the chorus is EVERYTHING!!!
They did a great job with this, however I wish Jonathan would play the bag pipes in the intro. I love this song on the record, and It doesn’t hit the same without the bag pipes
We will always and forever be trying to recapture the energy from the '60s, '70s, '80s and 90's but we never will. People are dead these days. No life, no energy. Just a bunch of scared pansies.
@@brandonhayes2363 He actually did it in Mexico in 2002. I was certainly very young at the time so I can't tell if he was doing playback on the intro and just presented the bagpipe, but I saw it in all its glory anyway!!!
