While she seems hyper, happy and lively when she's streaming, she's very much an introvert and extremely withdrawn when she's not streaming or doing stuff for Hololive. Okayu mentioned it before that she doesn't really go outside unless it's to the gym or shopping for essentials and aside from Hololive, she doesn't really talk with people. That's why you'll see her comment from time to time how she appreciates her fans, members and subscribers because she feels socially awkward and thinks most people would avoid her because of her various quirks. We all need to remember to shower her with love when we watch her. In a way, we're all she's got aside from her work and family.

Well being an adult it is hard to make friends. Most likely harder for her as her job involves her almost every day being most likely at home or wherever the gear is set up for her. Having someone close by is a bad idea unless it is far a collaboration stream. All the normal ways of making friends as an adult are cut off in the kind of job Korone has. Making friends as a kid is easy as you are usually surrounded by kids your own age that go to the same school as you do taking the same classes as you do at the same time as you do. They also live in the same general area as you do. Making friends as an adult after the being in school part of life is over well it is hard and takes you actively seeking for it to happen. Unless it is a coworker it is hard to meet anyone to call a "friend". As her job is being online always to talk with her chat i doubt online friendships are a thing she would want.

I'm pretty sure their Hololive accounts ARE their real accounts. Aqua has shown her mom's account used on the same machine and the only other account their was Aqua's own. Some of them just use their alias as their everyday account

It's frustrating that online makes it easy to make friends, but you'll never know what the person is really like. I've seen people who've made friends online, just to get scammed by them after a year or two. Never give money to people you meet online, no matter what they say it's for.
Eh, this isn't really an online only thing. You shouldn't really loan friends or family money (but quite a few people do). It makes part of the relationship professional. Professional and private relationships don't mix well. I don't think it's a problem to give someone a small amount of money if they are in some sort of trouble, but don't ever expect to get it back.

Im guessing they cant use their actual personal accounts anyways for of course personal and private information. Anything they use on stream are separate hololive only accounts and devices including pc, consoles, and mobile to avoid any personal life leakage. Hence you dont see them having online friends outside of hololive or other vtubers theyre friends with.
as someone who literally has no one to play, I feel this :( I took way to much time to get into communities due to obvious fear of meeting bad people and now here I am. (I have a few IRL friends don't worry, but still, can't really share my online hobbies).

While its an Agency account that asked to block all friends like with everyone else, Koro-san having very few internet gamer friends could be true given her past (debut Korone that was a time, huh), introvert tendency's, being old school gamer and Virtual Streamer, etc. The good part in it is that she indeed has Okayu which for her is like SSR friend ww. She also knows even few other agency's Vlivers tho.
That online shit is the worst aspect of playing any ubisoft title. I just want to play my single-player game and not be bothered by random crap from other people showing up on my map.
if Hololive has a psychology test, probably they detect that some of these girls are introverts, but still recruit them anyway because their years experience of using mainly internet to communicate
It's not surprising. Look at their careers. It doesn't give them the time to develop any meaningful relationships naturally outside of Hololive. I know the girls support each other, but at the end of the day, most of them are colleagues, albeit close ones. Yes, I'm sure it's a dream come true to work in Hololive, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows. They're sacrificing a lot to bring happiness in our lives, oftentimes at the detriment their own.
