By the sounds of it I sounded like she was doing the background designs of the 3d world as well but I may have interpreted that wrong, regardless I am excited

I'm really glad the Koronesuki were trying to reassure her about delaying her birthday stream. When I saw the Twitter announcement I was worried she had some health complications or something. When I tuned in she was cackling away so that set my mind at ease. She tried to do too much and the birthday event gets delayed, I don't think anyone can fault her for that

@@CarbonRollerCaco I wouldn't quite brush this down to Japanese culture, as much as it is just her wanting to give back to the community and wanting to show her passion for her work (I've been in this exact same situation myself when doing community projects with the Korone server, namely the 1MIL subs project)
I hope she feels not too bad about it. Its important to take time for yourself and enjoy your free time. Working 24/7 without relaxing would be a bad life. It shows that she wanted to make this extra special by designing decorations and merch herself. It was the best choice to postpone it and have a fun 3D later.

Ah, so it's delayed because a lot of stuffs won't be ready by 1st October, I watched the live stream and only managed to catch that merchs getting delayed . I think it's important to recognize that she can be held responsible for her failures but that doesn't mean anybody needs to be angry or upset with her. She decided to take on a certain work-load and whether it's because she procrastinated too much, over estimated her own ability, or simply underestimated the amount of work it would take, it was her failure. That doesn't make her a worse person or anything, it's just a personal failure that she will grow from. Her community can just forgive her and move on. My point in saying all this is that it's not helpful or healthy for anybody to coddle her and say things like "Oh you should enjoy your free time!" When she took on this responsibility she was in charge of managing her free time while meeting her own deadline. This all applies to everyone not just her. How does a person grow from their mistakes if the people around them always tell them they did nothing wrong.
This reinforces that overall the community is very supportive, which I like. As a strict 9-5 person myself, having time to not do work is vital, so I was glad to see that the commentators weren't suggesting that she should sacrifice her movie time for getting work done. Personal time is personal time, after all.
I'm sure it'll turn out great, even if we have to wait a bit longer for it 🙏 Reminds me of Haachama's 4th anniversary earlier this year. She agreed to edit the event video herself, but she ran right up to the last minute and couldn't finish it in time 😔. Thankfully she ended up having a pretty successful impromptu call-in stream right after her apology stream, and was able to stream the video in the next day or so.

It reminds me at Haachama's birthday when she tried to edit the video by herself and she didn't make it in time. I'm going to be happy for call-in stream though. I don't remember when is the last time a JP member hold a totsumachi stream.
"If I had time to [insert hobby/activity], that means I had free time to work." No. Absolutely not. That's an incredibly unhealthy way to think. It is vital to maintain strong boundaries between your work and your life outside of work, and to not allow your hobbies and interests to be eradicated by your work. Please, no one think like this. Procrastination is a bad thing, sure, but living a balanced and healthy life is not procrastination and is not something to feel guilty about.
I think it really depends on who you are, what the project is, and your base level of responsibility. I agree with the importance of work-life balance. At the same time, if I agree to fulfill a cleaning contract and then sit around and don’t finish on time, that’s my fault. I’m not saying Korone’s responsibility is the same as mine is for a contract, and she definitely deserves her free time for as much work as she does. but I do think that *sometimes* you do have to make a short term sacrifice, and I definitely see people use this argument to get out of doing stuff.

Take your time. You want a high quality finished product. The exact day you celebrate on doesn't matter. I switched my birthday celebration day because it's close to a national holiday with fireworks. So now I celebrate a few days after, but there's already a big celebration going on. I should have started doing this years ago!
That makes sense. I mean, Korone has been in Hololive for a long time now so I'm sure she wanted to try doing a bit more for this birthday to differentiate it from previous ones. I do agree with chat that I'm glad she didn't just work herself to death and instead took the time to relax during her off hours because that's really important for your mental health and we've already lost Korone a few times when she pushed herself too hard.

The Koronesuki are such a beautiful club, even if their oshi constantly threatens their fingers, they will always care about the golden-hearted DOOG and want her happy. I sometimes postpone my own birthday DINNER or even cake-eating, let alone trying to organize a 3D stream and merchandise for the occasion. We will be patient, Korone. (Also hey, my birthday's September 28, so we're very close. I still might celebrate my birthday after she does xD )
I would love her to do a call-in stream for our shy doggo.. But I think right now she should be happy and healthy and enjoy her free-time.. I mean your only 94 years old once. The only thing I can blame her for, is for stealing my yubis... nah, not even that. I know for all the Hololive Idols they are working hard to impress the fans and show all the activities they have been putting up. I do Understand Korone's problem as far as I know she needs time. Tbh, it's good she explain what went wrong with your project and improves what you can do for it. Relax time and private times are important but budgeting your time for your project and make sure they are complete in time is as important. Know when to actually need rest and enjoy your private time, but also when you actually had to work. Understand where your skillset are and capable predicting when the said project can be completed in time. Korone is a professional streamer and idol and her work needed to be treated as such. Chat being understanding is good and we should wait when it's ready patiently, but acknowledge that she really could do better is important as well.

For context , taking a day off on japan is a very serious topic due to their crazy working ethics and scheduling strictness , so a change like this is seen like a serious screw up by Korone , because those fans could possibly not get another day off on time for the concert now , so she will have to push it further more down the line to allow people to get another day off and possibly clashing on timing with another girl already schedule event and maybe diving fans between choosing and causing less overall viewerships It is expected that she is owning the mistake and im really glad the koronesukis took it well and keep supporting her and telling her to take her time to make the best possible event
