@@TheGuyWhoIsSitting if it’s the Shindou version. The OG Japanese version has very few voice clips in general. The US version is where Charles Martinet’s Mario had his debut.
He doesn’t say that in the revised Japanese version sadly (on which all copies of 3D All-Stars are based). Mario also speaks in a slightly higher pitch if you listen closely. That’s how you can tell.
Ditto, my son watches vtubers and speedruns and this just popped up on my feed because we share my RU-vid account. I'm a big gamer and nerd in my own right and after seeing enough speedruns I was like "bet I can do some of that" Started learning the techniques for 16 star runs and am capable of doing either 1 star or 16 star runs (not fast mind you lol) Anyways, seeing this lass reminded me of my first time playing when the game originally came out. It's as you say, you watch speedruns or play at a decent level , you forget that first timers and casuals find the game challenging. It's been many years since I felt that so it was nice to indulge in some vicarious nostalgia. Also, it's great seeing the younger generation playing games from years ago, so hopefully it encourages younger people to try out old but great games.
@@MrXMysteriousX I don't think Korone belongs to the "younger generation", she may sound young but I think she is actually around 30 or something. It's just that she never played the game until now :D
Wow an over 10 minute long video highlights of the whole stream, very welcomed!. I think it only lacked the bit in which Korone was talking to herself in Okayu's voice too.
thank you so much for compiling this, i don't have the stamina for a korone endurance stream D: 9:35 once the amusement of the "peko" sound bite finished, my first thought was def "why is she angry?" XD gotta go rewatch that clip now...
It's amazing that she's played so many old games, but she apparently never experienced SM64 before. I wonder if her family just didn't have a Nintendo 64.
Doggo Girl is Funny XD I allways ask myself something the Vtubers Lore is made by herselfs or it's made by the Corpo Men Behind, in this Case Holo... cuz they are genius
I tried to watch in Japanese as she played live and was bummed my Japanese isn't quite at the level to be able to enjoy it completely without subs. Thank you for creating this compromise! And with a fun selection of clips, too.
Korone falling and dying do unexpected platforming maneuvers also mirrors my experience of getting all 120 stars. Mario 64 is a game that's easy to learn a hard to master. It's timeless.
The delightful sounds she makes playing SM64. Ice slide on Cool Cool Mountain drove me nuts too. I had to learn to be really patient with the turns and slow down. Thumbs up to korone for playing SM64. A childhood favorite of mine.
