I've been trying a few different concealers lately. My tried and true faves are the Surratt compact, Armani Power Fabric, Armani Luminous Silk. Of the new ones I've tried Rose Inc. was the best, but they don't have just one shade for me. I *hated* the Ilia concealer. Too thin and slimy and the colors were either *way* too white or yellow. For whatever reason I never tried Kosas after trying the tinted face oil years ago. I liked it but wasn't quite ready to embrace a tinted face oil yet. Now after years of hearing people rave about it and the Cloudset powder, and looking at the expansive shade range I've got to take the dive!
Your thoughts on the Ilia concealer has prompted me to think about it and experiment with it. The Ilia is AMAZING at pin point concealing. I let it sit a bit, blend with finger, and it stays all day and makes it look like I don’t have a blemish! But, for area concealing, I have not yet figured out how to get it to look like skin, instead of makeup. I recall the Kosas concealer being thick, and yellow. But that was before they expanded the shade range. Maybe I’ll try again?
I love the Kosas formation but it's such a bummer that they don't have the perfect match on me. you're right, it has a yellow undertone😢 hope they expand the shade range
I absolutely LOVE the kosas concealer! I wear shade 4N and it’s just the perfect shade match for me, is so buildable, and looks so skin-like (which is super important to me). Only problem is that in Australia we can only get it through Mecca and they never seem to restock enough 🙁
One of my previous favorites! That dry-to-creamy formula is definitely something else. Works well, thanks for the reminder. I need to look at that again! 💜
