On the one hand I am happy that Ahmed (unlike Suleiman) does not like the fights of his entourage (where Suleiman liked a lot because it pleased his ego until it went too far) and does everything since the start to stop them. With him things are clear (in addition to respecting those who are not his favorites). Besides, Katherine is basically just a victim of the system (even if I understand why Kosem did it, I don't really like this sort of thing). On the other hand I don't like this side at all all I want is order, what a horrible system and way of thinking.
Not really , the Ottoman empire before all else is a muslim empire , so all the sultans and sultanas used to do and pay alot for the poor ( even tho they did many horrible things) . They show that more clearly in kosem's older years in later episodes with her actions and how people talk about her , she was specially generous more than any other.
I don't believe how much unfar Ahmed Sultan was to Anastasia (now kosem) . This man do not know what is love someone. Actually he does not love any girl. This is not love. And he is being só ungratefull to kosem, she saved all Palace, she was so brave and gave up about to scape Only for loving Ahmed Sultan, she came back to the Palace Only for Ahmed Sultan and she was the only one who suport him. How can Ahmed sultan have more than one favorit??? We fell favorit fellings Only for one person or thing, that's why we call it FAVORITE. And i remember that Ahmed Sultan told to Anastasia she was his favorit nas his Jasmim, his precisou nas he told her that he wants Only her, when she question him about all others girls.
all sultan had multiple women to provide a sons, from the ist ottoman sultan till the end of sultanate it was a practice anyway, but there's always one most favotite the likes of hurrem, safiye, kosem and so on, not all concubines are allow to be a haseki only few of them hold the title and if u had that you lucky enough to have the sultan affection and love
