** PRIME 2 World Launch Buying Link (Banggood): bit.ly/3dZ1R3N Thanks for using this link to buy! See photos shot with the PRIME 2 camera separated into those taken both before and after removing the plastic film from the lens: tinyurl.com/androidwatches (look for PRIME 2 Photos folder) BATTERY TESTING: TEST 1: Left the Prime 2 turned on with WiFi connected and screen off, charged to 100% to test drain overnight. Eight hours later in the morning it was at 85%. Strapped it on and went out with it playing and taking pictures. Seven hours later it was at 50%. No GPS but heavy screen on time with the camera in bright sun (and could easily see the image on the screen!). It's now three hours later and the watch has been sitting on the desk. Just checking it. 40%. So let's see, we've got 8 + 7 + 3 = 18 hours of moderate use mixed with some quiet time and 40% still remaining. Add another 3 hours of heavy use installing apps, now at 15% TEST 2: Started charging at 15%. After 20 min, 25%. After 40 min, 40%. After 60 min, 55%. After 90 min, 75%. After 120 min, 95%. All rounded to nearest 5%. Remember, these charging times started from 15%, not from 0%. It’s also not good for the battery to overcharge to 100%, so I stopped at 95%. Hope this helps! TEST 3: After charging to 95%, I put the watch in Power Save for 16 hours untouched, and it dropped to 85%. After 18 hours, 83%. That’s a drop of 12% in 3/4 of a day. TEST 4: Starting at 85%, after 1.5 hrs, moderate use, 79%, after total of 4.5 hrs moderate use, 68%, after 7 hrs of moderate and light use, 60%. That’s a drop of 25% total. Now, taking watch off for the evening/night, after 11 hrs total, 53%, after 22 hrs total, 34%, and after 24 hrs total, 25%. That’s a drop of 60% total including day use and overnight no-use. TEST 5: Here we go. A day of wearing it, some camera, some GPS fitness, some calls, even a Duo video call (what fun!) and, of course, checking time and collecting pedometer step count info. Started 7:20 AM at 98%. Ended test at 5:20 PM with 43% left. That's 10 hours. Slapped it on the charger and filled it up to 80% in one hour. TEST 6: After rerunning the video test on the PRIME 2 from this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ceno0sRNois.html - with it on my arm, I came up with these battery results by checking the level of drop between each video segment. After #1 video 32:10 drop to 79%, #2 video 20:17 drop to 65%, #3 video 32:10 drop to 42%, #4 video 32:10 drop to 16%, #5 video approx 25min watch died not saving video. So Prime 2 should be able to record about four sets of video in 32min chunks from a full charge. TEST 7: Using the "Free Camera" app and shooting repeating video clips limited to 100MB each, this test ran from 100% power to 10% power and lasted 2 hr 45 min recoreding 193 separate video clips, each lasting 47 to 49 seconds.
Am so in love with this watch but my problem is their shipping method,I love my items to get shipped from DHL EXPRESS and so now am interested but not comfortable with their shipping method, another big obstacle is that I'm in Ghana-West Africa so how could you help me out cuz am madly in love with this watch right now and ready to use your link to purchase just to support this channel.Pls help me out I can't afford not to use this watch...my email is (wizluvibrahimemefa123@gmail.com) Thank you
I finally got this watch and love it!...and I found a GREAT band for this giant watch ...one that is actually sold on Amazon for a heart rate monitor... Scosche Rhythm+ Replacement Strap - Fits Scosche Rhythm+ Optical Heart Rate Monitor Armband ...two bands are included for about $15; a small one that will fit most wrists and a large band that will fit forearms and upper arms...these bands are incredibly comfortable also.
You won't find much in the way of health and fitness support in Android watches. Check these instead: ru-vid.com/group/PLGZLicZ6A2vWfrpYV3AZRSKCBDXxoU8yi or these: ru-vid.com/group/PLGZLicZ6A2vUrOmmcw8236SSwn6leBNJG or these: ru-vid.com/group/PLGZLicZ6A2vXkXWLguX0WPFgEDbpIbt2u or these: ru-vid.com/group/PLGZLicZ6A2vXBqaqdhcx4KodhglwbhBEs
This is still one of my top watch to get, mainly because of that camera swivel. haha. Then I already have the kospet prime 1 which I have been using for 2 yrs now and working as it should.
Hey great review as always.. I want a temporary phone for 12 months but then I saw this. Can I use Zeblaze Thor 6 or Kospet Prime 2 as standalone phone watch? If yes which one will you recommend? I know Thor 6 is compact but is it easy to type ? Am more into WhatsApp Facebook and camera.
Yes, they all act as standalone phones with separate SIM cards in them. For a phone replacement and ease of typing, check out the rectangular breed, LEMT, MAX, MAX S, and APPLLP MAX.
Great video thanks for the info! I've had mine now for about 4 days... Everything's running fine.. I'm unplugging around 4am & have to plug it in around 7pm... Not bad cause of thst big Ass screen.. Usually keep the brightness around 25% sometimes @ 50%
Is it just me or is it satisfying watching the new watch face pop up and see the hands change themselves to the correct time. I also like the faces with the continuous sweep second hand. One thing though for me it would be too big as I have a real skinny wrist heheh.
Thank you Sir! For making this very helpful and honest review! It's very informative and straight forward. We appreciate your hardwork to help us review every smartwatches! Thank you once again
hi! how would you compare to optimus pro? lifetime , optimus got 2 OS right, i can keep it for a week in that mode, but hardly 1 day in the normal mode.... watterproof is the same ?
This one is not waterproof. Don't get it wet. It has one OS but a really large battery, so it has pretty good battery life. I've listed some results in the first comment, so look there for battery life data.
I know it's not ideal to watch RU-vid videos on smartwatches but I hope Android will fix the issue when we go full screen on these devices. I wish we can watch full screen videos on an angle like checking the time (when RU-vid is in full screen, the orientation changes) Can it be fixed?
Hi. Great review! Which should I buy, the Lokmat APPLLP Max (2.88--in) or this Kospet 2.1-in watch. Thank you in advane. Stay safe and a great day always.
Dear mr Ticks, thanks again for another great iformative review! Bought this watch based on your info! Its huge but i love it! I am curious, do you know a useful keyboard app for this watch? I tried several but almost always the 'enter or delete' key is not visible.
KOSPET PRIME 2 is amazing big step from KOSPET PRIME i hope they add built in ear buds like in LEMFO LEMD watch that will make it the best there is i love KOSPET PRIME original lots of space for music storge and pair it often with my ear buds so dat LEMFO LEMD option on a KOSPET PRIME 3 or 4 or whatever in future will be nice to see hope they do it first still waiting to buy dat kind of watch in every department 11/10 !
Can you show how to take and send photos to a contact? And perhaps show it on the original prime first? Can’t figure it out? Show how to place sim in first one and second one. Show how to charge both and where to get an extra charge plate for first one please. Ty.
Wow, that's a lot. I've shown various aspects of all that in different videos, but not in each and every Android smartwatch video. Perhaps you can get some one-on-one help from the tech team here: www.fullandroidwatch.org

Hi! I´ve been watching your videos and they´re pretty interesting. I just got my Prime 2 a few days ago vía Amazon. I live in Mexico by the way. I´m loving it and the size is huge haha! I have a few questions for you. Can you recommend me wich would be the best app to control volume, take a screenshot, etc. as a floating widget? And can you also recommend me other interesting apps? I believe that you showed a couple of them in a video. I just don´t remember where haha. Thanks and keep up the good work! :)
Thanks for watching! My favorite floating widget for all this stuff is Floating Toucher, but it won't run yet on Android 10, so folks are looking for alternatives. Anybody have a suggestion?

@@SWT thanks for replying 😃 I guess we'll have to wait until we get an app to do that. Keep up the good work!
Haha, thanks. This is just after a comment that my 1 hour review is way too long! Guess I'll just keep doing what I do and please some folks, like you! Yes, this is a really nice large screen watch. Got some new band ideas to show you for this one as well in the next video.
@@SWT I remember years ago when people said a 5.5inch screen device was too big, a 1hr movie was too long. Give them time, they will appreciate your next video which will be a detailed 2hr video. If you ask me, I am more worried and at the same time in awe how you managed to do it for 1hour. I am thrilled.
Hi. I hope you will tell us if with intense use (notifications, sim inserted and 4g active, physical activity ...) you get to finish at least the day. Apart from the camera, I don't think there are any big news. I think everyone cares about the actual battery life. Otherwise like all the other standalone smartwatches I've bought (Optimus Pro, lem x, lem10) it remains a toy that does many things but lasts half a day. I hope you will answer me. Thanks.
Here's what I've got so far Vic: Left the Prime 2 turned on with WiFi connected and screen off, charged to 100% to test drain overnight. Not ready for the intense use you're asking for, but this is my diary with the watch. At least it's something.
Can't believe you missed that! I show you the dark mode in the settings! It even has night mode that can turn on and off with sunset. No always on display, and touchable watch faces only partially work. Some changes to the clock engine will require reworking of the custom faces to get them to work.
this is perfect, they really do listen to you and the battery is the best thing. the only and only drawback of this watch i would say is its way way too big it needs to be slightly smaller and better looking like the normal kospet, I hope they take this into consideration
They're trying to hit all kinds of people with all different kinds of designs, so I expect to see some smaller round and square Android 10 watches in the future.
Kospet after sale customer support very very bad! Purchased 4 different models. The more expensive models Prime 2 and Optima 2 both failed. The Prime 2 began flash a white screen resetting constantly and failed. The Optima 2 began resetting, power button stopped working. Request to Kospet for help unanswered.
That, my friend, is the ultimate question. I constantly change my favorite based on what's new and what I'm looking for at the moment. Health, fitness, NFC payments, watching RU-vid movies, monitoring sleep apnea, they all take different watches. There's no easy answer to the ultimate question.
By using an alternative Settings app like Settings Search, you can get to Accessibility and turn on triple tap zoom. That expands the entire screen so you can see fine detail or read small text.
Remove it! If water splashes on that top rotating camera module, it can go straight into the watch through the tiny opening where the camera wires go into the watch body. They need to move in and out as the camera is rotated so they left that slit open. Not a waterproof watch!!! LEM14 a better choice if water resistance is a necessity.
I have the Prime Pro and was really looking forward to purchasing the Prime 2 with its really great specs and upgrades. But, alas, it is much larger than the pro, really too large to wear as an everyday watch. I will have to wait for a "normal" sized version hopefully with similar specs.
Very Interested, it seems so much better than the original Kospet Prime, who's battery seems to drain so fast, what do I do with the old one, your review of the first one convinced me to buy it.. Still considering is it til available for less?
Haha, some folks sell them on eBay or Craigslist and then upgrade. Prices are always changing, and I think this one is in Flash sale right now. Bookmark this page as my counterpart at Banggood is working hard to keep it up to day for me with the best prices available on the hottest watches: bit.ly/SWTBanggood
Sorry, it is a good update for the OS and for the hardware. But the size and the weight is not wearable anymore. I think, the 1,4" (latest the 1.6") size screens are ideal.
When will they make a good android watch with a square screen?! I've had lots of circular ones, although the time display looks better the apps fit better to square/rectangle. I always have my circular watch on square mode but makes the display smaller. This watch seems OK but screen seems too big, I don't think I will upgrade from my Kospet Prime SE (it's a bit laggy at times but OK). Any review on the Ticwris Max S coming out? Looks better as they made the screen smaller but not sure I want to stay on Android 7 when there's Android 10 watches coming out now.
@@SWT The DM20 is the first Apple Style watch I've seen with full android 7.1.1, so that's something, still it doesn't look totally "premium" is the screen even IPS? A device running stock android 10 or higher, 3GB 16/32GB or more, AMOLED with Apple watch or Max S size screen would be great! I think I'm dreaming with the AMOLED though, not been around for ages now. Oh just seen the DM20 is based off the LEM10 which you reviewed last year, maybe why OS looks a little dated, smartwatches seem to change designs fast.
Hello Mr Ticks from Wolverhampton in the U.K. Just received my kospet Prime 2 and wondered if you could answer a couple of questions please ? How do I load music onto the watch, and will your mate Elrod,I think that's his name, lol,be designing any faces for this monster of a watch ? Love watching your channel by the way👍 Thanks.
Congrats on your new watch! Loading music is as simple as connecting the charging wire to your computer and dragging the music you want into the Music folder on the watch (it will mount on your computer as an external thumb drive). Al Rod did make a couple of nice faces for the new LEM14 that have a big camera button in the middle like this stock face, and they work on all Android 10 watches.
1st I want to say thanks for your knowledgeable reviews. You are the best. I'm having an issue with connecting to my phone. I scan the QR code on wii watch 2 but I can't use it with my phone. Am I missing something? My phone is Note 9 thanks for your feedbacks.... I don't know if its just me with the issues. I'm getting to the point of getting SpeedTalk sims but they have bad Data even though i scan QR it still say waiting on connections. Been on it for 2 days haha im giving up hope. But the watch itself oh my God it's amazing.
Nice Mr Ticks ! Bought the watch because of your review. Where can I get touchable watchfaces with more options to start an app ( not only the camera app ) Greetings to you !
I always come here for a new smartwatch to see a review and I'm looking for a new one just now! I don't know if should go for that 3.7inch screen Android Apple or a round dial from Tairgi or something
Sorry, I haven't tethered to the app with this watch. Suggest you ask over here: discourse.fullandroidwatch.org/t/kospet-prime-2-official-support/58553/413
I don't really care about the watchfaces (it has only an IPS LCD display, so the Always On Display is impossible - it would deplete the battery quite fast), I'll root mine, dump all the unneeded things, install Nova Launcher Prime, then I'll use it as a boosted version of my Kospet Prime. :)) It's kinda too big, the rotatable camera is kinda lame (the sensor is nice, but this solution is the worst possible, since it involves mechanical parts, plus it protrudes a lot) - I love my original Prime, the same watch body would have been great with the upped specs, but we will see, won't we? BUT at least the second era of full Android watches has begun! Thanks for the detailed review, Mr. Ticks!
They could put this in a Prime body for sure, after all, the Thor 6 has everything the Prime 2 has except a smaller battery and 2 cameras instead of one dual purpose camera. Love the idea of switching to Nova. I gotta try that one of these days.
Sorry, it's just a standard watch strap. They either have quick disconnect sliders or you use a fingernail or small screwdriver to press in the pin. Check out watches at Walmart to learn how to remove and install standard straps.
Love this watch review. Thank you. What is a cellular service that would work with this watch? I bought a lemfo kw88 and it won't work with any of my services. (Straight talk, cricket, tmobile)
These all use GSM networks and that's AT&T or T-Mobile. I have a recommended service custom designed for smartwatches listed in the show notes under the video.
No, there's no auto bright sensor for that, but there is the night mode to change from blue-white to amber for all screens in the evening. That's new on all Android 10 watches.
Greetings!! Hope you are in good health... I have a doubt.... like will the facer app and its watchfaces work on Kospet prime 2? I am planning to buy it.... let me know if those watchfaces could be installed on that watch...can you make a video of it?? Thank you!
Sorry Andrew, facer faces are not native to our Android watches. You might try this app to get 'one' at a time to work. It works for WatchMaker faces: discourse.fullandroidwatch.com/t/universal-wear-watch-face/ Install tutorial here : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uEDdJNk2XPg.html Also check Universal Launcher New Gen - play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ricktop.ClockSkinCoco With more info here: roundandroidwatches.proboards.com/thread/758/universal-launcher-new-generation-2 Example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_w1EPRx3HrQ.html (high marks from Tech Community)
@@SWT Thank you brother for your concern and your fast reply.... I'll try that app that you suggested...meanwhile....can you suggest to me a watch where I could enjoy the best of watch faces with all the features of this watch? Is kospet prime 2 apt for me? I want a big dial..with all the updated features like 4gb ram etc...the main purpose would be to keep a versatile addition of watchfaces...Thank you, brother.
So we can install facer as well as watchmaker in wear os and Samsung devices? IF so, can you suggest me a smartwatch that would run both brother? Also, can facer watchfaces be installed on pairing with a device as such without creating account in facer? or should an account be made to sync? Thank you for your patience brother.
Helllo there ticks I wanted to ask you this question for so long should I buy the ticwris max or this because I want more battery and ram also so can you help me out please and give me the duration of the watch especially the ticwris max it has a huge screen and that’s what I need and does it support amoung us in it The video was great you are helping me out a lot keep up the good work. Hope you become MrBeast one day
Finally, an android smartwatch that is really an android smartwatch. It runs smooth, has 64gb, playstore, fitness programs and a good screen quality. The only downside is its size and thickness. Hope tecnology evolves and we can have a more compact watch with the same features. I still think that square shaped android smartwatches are a better choice, you can diminish the screen size(and the total size of the watch) without loosing anything of the generic smartwatch capabilities, using playstore apps at their fullest. Dont really know how this would affect the internal components though.
Got reviews of another Android 10 watch, the THOR 6, up next which is much smaller and a surprise Apple style square Android watch after that. Hoping to give you the best for your subscription!
Nope, just heart rate as usual. Only doing unboxing here. Tech testing will have to wait until after I've reviewed the other wave of Android watches here. You can always check over at www.fullandroidwatch.org for more details.
Hello, sure enjoy your videos. I bought the Genesis due to your reviews, but since switching to Verizon it no longer works as a phone. I have searched with no luck in finding if the Prime 2 will work on Verizon. Will you please tell me if it will or will not work on Verizon, or point me in the right direction to find out for myself? Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving
It is my understanding that these watches work on the GSM network, which is AT&T and T-Mobile in the USA. However, I've heard the Android 10 watches may work on more networks. The folks that would really know could answer you here: discourse.fullandroidwatch.org/t/kospet-prime-2-official-support/58553/765
I hope you or someone else can help me. I just received this watch, and all my screens are in square mode. Despite following instructions I found, and a setting on the watch to swap from round to square, all my apps come up in the square mode. PLEASE HELP !!!
Wow, thank you! I do tend to ramble, but I try and make the rambling interesting and applicable. I like to offer some stuff you won't find on other reviews (and leave out the stuff you find on all the other reviews since you've already heard it).
If you can do it from an Android phone, you should be able to do it here. Remember you need a separate SIM in the watch for texting. You can ask Google to create a text for you on the watch just like you would do on a phone.
using time 2 days??? how its possible from 14.15 was 80% and at 49.50 is 66% battery in 35 minutes go down 14, it means in 3 hours use it will be over.
Not possible at all. I drain then charge then do things off camera, then on camera, then insert stuff from the future into the past, so there's no way to correlate battery readings through the review.
Ticks please reply to my comment I need help and also is there a new model of the lemfo lem t series I wanna buy the new series hope it’s even bigger and better
@@SWT hi ticks thx for response I wanted to know which watch should I buy which has more and the biggest battery life and screen ram, memory, and camera especially please let me know if there is anew lemfo lem t series comming ahead hope you become mrbeast one day I wish Your regard Abdurrehman
There is no new LEMT series with Android 10 out yet, but there are a couple of similar ones, the Ticwris MAX and the DOMIWEAR DM100 (which I'll be reviewing soon - finally).
Floating Toucher does not open on my prime 2. Did you try to install it? If so, what was your result. Any advice on alternative app that does something similar? (Looking for "Assistant to be floating widget, also a floating launcher for all apps, I use display brightness and volume control).
Yea, it looks like Floating Toucher won't work on Android 10 watches as I've tried without success on all three on the market. Too bad. Great app. As for a replacement, I'm playing around with this one that Jonathan is talking up on this blog: discourse.fullandroidwatch.org/t/kospet-prime-2-official-support-updated/58553/888
Respect for this detailed review. Nice job ! Would like to ask u if u can download all app fm play store like u do in a normal smart adroid phone... like Alexa app, spotify app , smart home apps like mi home, broadlink etc and if u can work with them like u do through a smart phone. For example if u download the alexa application will it work like on my phone . ? Thank u for yr time. Keep up the good work! Love fm Greece !
Did you hear about production delay? I ordered from Banggood the same day you showed watch. Just wondering wait time since Kospet hasn’t mentioned it on website
Considering this watch. May I know if the glass is of Gorilla Glass quality and if yes, what grade? Will say that watching you brought me to purchasing two smartwatches I wasn't aware of before and also were not of well known brands (Apple, Samsung, etc.) but were still good standalone quality. One of them being the Kospet Hope, so thanks for continuing to provide information and reviews on the latest trends in the Smartwatch field. Take care always, God bless and stay safe. P.S. Given the Prime 2 is Android 10 and has acceptable hardware, I hope it is a watch that can last a while longer compared to Android 7 and previous OS smartwatches.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure what grade of glass is used in these watches. If it's noteworthy, they usually comment about it in the sales information. Since Android 10 just came out along with a new processor, there could be a couple of evolutions in hardware and software before things settle down. They actually rushed these to market a bit early, so there will definitely be some critical firmware updated coming throughout the next year.
@@SWT thanks for the feedback. On the waterproofing, you mentioned at best the watch was splash proof but is it possible to get clearer IP rating or proofing grade from Kospet themselves so we can be guided accordingly especially if we consider purchasing this smartwatch? Gives more confidence in the product. Its concerning also given the Prime 2 is also claimed to be an exercise watch that definitely will be placed in various outdoor/indoor states aside from sweat. Not saying to check if it will survive in the swimming pool (warranty card already claims it can't), but at least assurance that it can at least survive both sweat, light rains and at most a shower session is at least something.
That screen quality forgives it slightly larger size...Cool Specs...Would Love them to Try Camera hidden within the Screen method to help reduce size..!!!..and the low power standby watch screen function wish it had that...
Somehow it seems there will always be something still needing to be added or changed. Actually, I'm glad for that as it keeps my channel going and new goodies to play with regularly! Ah, may they never make the perfect watch. But I wouldn't mind really close. :)
I'm planning a separate camera video covering all three Android 10 watches so you guys can compare. In the mean time, I've got a folder with some photos from the PRIME 2 available for you to see here: TinyURL.com/androidwatches
Yep, yep, and definitely yep. Bet you can even remotely look at your front door camera as well, especially if you have the watch connected to WiFi at work or Starbucks, etc.
PLEASE I BADLY NEEDED YOUR HELP. in my local online store, the charger for kospet prime 1 is out of stock for a long time and only the kospet prime 2 charger is available. When i asked, they told me that it is compatible with the previous version. Please conduct a test if it really is the case.
Sorry, my cables are all mixed up so I don't know which cable came with which watch! Anybody out there know if they are compatible? You might try asking on the Prime 1 thread over at www.fullandroidwatch.org
Haha, I wonder if it would still work if you yank it off like pulling a tooth. Don't try it though! That would definitely void your warranty. Perhaps you could consider just not using it.
Yea, I have an affiliate link with Kospet, too. Same price, but I get some support to keep this channel going when you guys are able to use the links I work so hard to get setup: bit.ly/3w95BHg
Hi and thanks for the wonderful video. I received mine yesterday and I have a problem. Contacts from my Google account will not update in the kospet. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks in advance.
Sorry, you need a SIM and service for calls. Texts, apps, notifications, etc. are handled with a tethering app you put on your phone and connect to the app via Bluetooth.
