I haven’t really watched rap battles since Pat died and this is my first time hearing Jey. Dude is awesome. I really like his voice.

That Jey 2nd round is one of the best executions of an angle I’ve heard in along time..that’s the type of angle and direct approach that would make everything the next person say almost null n void, unless Flex had done counterwriting.

Jey's 3rd is one of the best rounds I've ever seen in my 16+ years of watching battle rap

From filming Jeys debut for AHAT Washingtons first event to seeing him on a massive KOTD card is incredible to see, dude is beyond deserving and now more of the world gets to see it. Huge props pimpin, the come up is real

Ridiculously slept on battle. Jey showed the power of presence every time it was his turn again. Madflex is probably the best performer who people think loses a lot of his battles but always delivers and has a very underrated pen.

Honestly … this is why I hate judging battles. IMO .. I’ll watch this 20 times and always have a different winner. A modern day classic & an honor to watch live. Thank you Jey & Flex for both elevating!

so glad this is finally out, this was my favorite battle on the card by far. Two incredible unique styles clashing at their best, Jey's 2nd wraps up so cleverly and I loved the way he morphs the blue-collar stuff into an attack with "a Bill Collector took your money, welcome to adulting". And the cadence of Flex's "Choke so much you'll think that he was were wrung around the neck" scheme has been stuck in my head since Blackout happened, he did the same style of reusing the first part of the bar to keep a pocket connected vs Bill too, with "Congrats Bill," and it always sounds fire the way he does it

Madflex is underrated. I'm new to Jey but I'm def gonna check out his other battles. I wasn't hyped for this one at first but I'm glad I clicked anyways because this is an enjoyably battle. Props to KOTD for all these entertaining battles.
