This album was kind of pinnacle of Kotiteollisuus. They were as big band can get in Finland. After this album band kind of lost their musical direction 🤔 Best album at least for me is they 4th album Kuolleen Kukan Nimi.

Hello!! I just love this song🤘.. Overall this album (I think) was the album that was the turning point to the whole band! I think this was the fifth album and they did do very well with their previous albums as well but after this one, I guess there wasn't so many Finnish people who didn't know them!! Actually I did read somewhere that "Jouni Hynynen"(singer) once said that he almost regrets doing this album because it came so huge and their songs were also played in some radiochannels that the band felt they doesn't belong there!! Meaning that especially one POP rediochannel was Jouni's one of the most hated ones🤔... (Or how should I put it!!) It took guite many years before he even promised to give an interview to that channel😂.. (if I remember correctly) But just trying to say that if you want to listen some stuff they have, I would begin with this. "Helvetistä itään"-album.. If so☝️.. just a word and I'll try to help you with lyrics of some of the songs you like most☝️... Don't hesitate to ask!! About this song🤔.. "Yö päivää keinuttaa" 🤔.. I'm not fully aware what that "keinuttaa" means in this!! It could be like "Night sways the day" or "cradled the day" or "swings the day" or "waves the day" but I would imagine this mean that the night is taking over the day... and I kind a understand these lyrics like there are a couple...🤔 ... Night and day / devil and angel / bad and good or something how that Too-good-to-be-true falls in love to a normal person and how it all is so wonderful at first but then it will came more🤔... Basic! Or something I DON'T KNOW😂😂.. but anyway that "sways" sounds the best so I guess I'm gonna go with that!! But anyway I hope you can get those great lyrics from my translation!! The mood of this song is just so cool and overall definetily the best era of "Kotiteollisuus" in my opinion🤘... And actually I did listen them few years after this CD was released but at some point I lost the intress.. I did buy few albums and listened them on the radio but there wasn't that "fire" anymore🤔.. UNTIL couple years ago I found them again with a song "Helvetin hieno matka" that was the best song in years in my opinion (especially the lyrics😉) and I started to listen these older songs too after that!! That could be a good song to continue your journey!! Thanks for this, good song to recommend from Juhis. They have a huge catalogue of songs with great sing-a-long choruses. Lyrics are pretty good too, but translated they lose something. "Yö päivää keinuttaa" means "night rocks (or sways) the day". This was heavy and reminded me of the music from Timo Rautiainen as well. P.S. Are you getting any closer to the songs that I've already suggested & you promised to put them on your list?

You should React to Mokoma! Vade retro, satana is one of my favorite songs, but it's really heavy and agressive.. they have some ballads and more "comftable" songs like "kuollut, kuolleempi, kuollein" thats a wordplay of "dead, More dead, deader" that is imposdible... I also recommend takatalvi remastered..
