From the story of how Revan programmed HK to call all organics "meat-bags", after Revan found amusing how HK constantly insulted Malak, it would seem that teasing others and joking around was Revans default personality. It seems a memory wipe cant remove everything.

Revan Revan built HK 47, just like anakin built C3PO. Revan evidently programmed HK to be sarcastic, when HK called Malak meatbag, Revan reprogrammed him to adress organics as meatbags.

I lost when I heard that line in KOTOR 2. Especially, when you've chosen Dark Side Revan, because she probably could say it for real, not only a parody of HK.
@@kaine2557 Wrong, according to bastila on the Leviathan the counsil planted a false identity/memories of Revan being a solider under Bastilas command. They did not hit a reset button, they literally had his mind altered so they could find the Star forge through his memories without feiring him returing.
Well, HK-47's popular "meatbag" term came from calling Alek (Darth Malak) a meatbag, so Revan programmed HK-47 to reffer to all organics as "meatbags", because he thought it was funny, especially because Alek did not take kindly to the term lol. It's safe to assume Revan was the Old Republic era Obi-Wan Kenobi.
God I loved teasing her. She tried so hard to hide her emotions but failed so blatantly. Its always sweet and endearing to see people stumble on themselves like this.
MarcusDarkstar And for that reason this is one of my favorite romances in all video games. It's very real. I could actually feel that Reven and Bastila were falling in love, not just saying lines written to advance a romance. The way Reven teases her is exactly how most relationships are, and her stumbling over herself is just a genuine.
***** This is subjective, but I will give you Varric. Dorian and Zevran just didn't resonate for me. Garrus was a great character, but was introduced in 2007. Reusing a great character isn't the same thing as creating one.

***** Character preference is completely subjective! You want proof? Do a google search for top DA/ME characters and you will see lists that are in total disagreement.So I don't particularly care for a character that you think is amazing, big deal...
My favorite dialogue part of this game was when Jolee told a story about one of his pupils growing overconfident in his abilities, and someone had enough of his arrogant rambling and choked him and threw him into a ships engine core. The player then said "you're kidding". And then Jolee said it made the whole ship explode and he had to fight to get out of it. One of the options for what the player said was "I hate you old man...."
You know, Revan is exactly what Anakin needs as a master. Revan doesn't stick to just one side of the Force (which is essentially fitting for Anakin, due to his Chosen One status), but he is also a lot more stable than Anakin (just imagine if Anakin went through 300 years of torture from Vitiate instead, doubt that Anakin would have been able to bear it). Kinda sucks for the latter that the 2 were seperated by many years.
I remember there was this part where she puts you through a kind of test, and there's answers like, "I'm a Wookiee. Can't you tell?" That was awesome :D
that answer from revan is available if you choose you agreed to answers some or two of bastillas questions, but the best part is just teasing her until shes frustrated lmao, I love the script. but teasing bastila is second best of the fun in the game and the best fun is hk-47 and his malicious thoughts and jokes.

Revan: You could warn me when I do something bad. Blink once for dark side, twice for light. When bastila lectures revan on the dark side. Its not on the video but is a funny line.
Once the remake come out, I'm gonna push as many of Bastila's buttons as possible and make snappy flirting and end all of the melodramatic sith and Jedi bend to my will, while being the most chaotic good Revan I can be... while still being an insanely good card player.
That's what I love KOTOR for - dialogues and interesting characters with believable behaviour and unique views. We had wise Jolee Bindo, opposing jedi hipocrisy, stoic Canderous Ordo, who is neither good nor evil, sarcastic HK47, naive Mission and... Bastila, who is slightly older than Mission but already highly regarded for her battle meditation. Moreover she secretely fell in love with the former Sith Lord, doesn't have firm belifs and afraid that her doubts in jedi delirious teachings and insecurity will be revealed. So she acts accordingly - like a teenager trying to act like a grown up and "respected jedi". Ultimately this leads to her downfall later in the game. All in line with her character.
Teasing Bastilla is the best thing I got out of any RPG ever dialogues-wise. She's too adorable No I'm not interested, I'm a Jedi it's beneath me... ...Pffft... If I wanted to hit on you I'd have top tier pick-up lines!

Bastila was a huge part of the story. Her character made the game a lot of fun. This was the first game I had ever played in which I felt like I'm in control of my destiny.

I love teasing the shit out of her. She's so well realized as the love interest for the male choice. The extremely well-written dialogue and superb voice acting in the Kotor-series are easily among, if not the best ever in video games. I have no problem arguing with characters for hours in these games, it's half the reason I play them. Over and over again.

Considering I'm a total wise ass myself, I adored these scenes. I always found myself cracking up, especially with Bastila's reaction and performance. If only KOTOR 2 had something like this... still a good game, just far too rushed.
I like to think that all the teasing dialogue is canon. Revan apparently did have a playful attitude when he was feeling a little less serious about galactic events.

ncrvako Just read about new expansion. Looks fucking stupid, and I played TOR a lot. Nobody asked to fight Revan or HK, it was depressing, sacrilegious, unfulfilling shit the first time and looks to be more of the same this time. If he'd appeared as a force ghost or something and played a big part in the game, that would have been fine. It's WORSE than the ME3 ending, if you have any love for the first game.
In my opinion THIS IS THE FACE OF REVAN That human male is the only one who looks the kind of "war torn" you'd expect to see in a former dark side user. HE is Revan. Deal with it.

Actually according to the Revan book that is the only one male character that does not fit the description. HE is DEFINITELY NOT Revan. And if you're going to answer me same "im handsome af" comeback, you're quite ugly.(asked my gf and sister) It's ok.
As much as one should address a master who refuses to claim to be a master, she still resents Revan, because of what happened before KOTOR, that he trapped Valcorion in Force Hypnosis and ran wild on the dark side of the force and with Mission Vao agreed that Mission Vao wanted peace as a galactic guide.
