@@ErtN-fj8tg I've asked both Ness and Snake players on their opinion and both majorities have said it's even. Snake having to use his normals more than usual isn't a bad thing, his normals are amazing especially against Ness. Nikita also makes offstage for Ness pretty bad. Both of these cases were showcased well in this set imo
D tilt is literally the only move snake has that's safe against ness, and cross up dash attack but you'd end up giving stage control, ness walls out snake so well that it's hard to get a comeback. Also ness fair and nair be@t out up tilt (which is why hurt only used it for killing and plat pressure) so he only has 1, at most 2 neutral tools which leads to very linear approaches. It's the same thing with g&w v snake, almost all snake players grind tf out of those matchups which is why it looks even, if ness and g&w players learned the matchup it'd look hard winning for em.
@@ryman3084 Ness being hard winning is absolutely a stretch, there's a reason why (afaik) all of the top Nesses and top Snakes think it's actually an even matchup with top level results to back this up.
@@Reed411 ok but hurt showed dominance in every single game that he won. He won neutral several times and just outplayed Gackt in general. Gackt had the character advantage and that helped him win 2 games. So to a degree at least Hurt pooped on Gackt lol
Why does Snake have such enormous dmg output while also have an incredibly good neutral and range set up with S tier frame data? REASONS! Stopped playing Smash about half a year back. I was thinking of picking it back up again... But no lol never mind, I'm good. Hope you nerds don't get too sweaty playing this masterpiece of character design. EDIT: Also, just reading the comments. SSBU really does have the smelliest, glue sniffing fans 😂 have fun being single boys. You deserve it.
