Use amsoil coolant it is track ready, it can also be dumped onto the ground it is not toxic as well as has better cooling properties then regular coolant.

You did say you were upgrading your cooling system very nice 👍🏽 by the way I want to do this on my g37x coupe, now all you need is the nismo radiator cap to match your nismo oil cap and you’re set.
I honestly wouldn’t waste my money on them! The oem crank pulley has a harmonic damper that helps with vibrations and most aluminum lightweight pulley kits end up getting rid of that! The only one I’d be willing to get is an ati crank pulley since they keep that feature but that’s about it. You can do the idler pulley delete and you essentially got rid of a whole pulley with 0 consequences!
Hi, good work! I have a question. This radiator has 53mm core? I'm searching a new water radiator for my 350Z and there are 3 diferent models from koyo! 36mm, 48mm and 53mm. Do you know which is yours? I'm worry about the fan shroud can't be installed if the radiator is too much thick. Thanks.
Wow a kit damn that would be great I just bought a 08 G35 sport and if I can win this it would be my first add on to it it's all I can think about is putting things on the baby. I wanted to upgrade the air intake and try to make it sound mean. I've been watch a few videos on these cars and I just want to do it all lol but fingers crossed
Thanks for this excellent video! I'm about to upgrade the radiator on my '06 6MT coupe that's got about 140k miles on it, and this'll be very helpful. What clamp assortment kit was that you had? And do you have the part number for the suction tool?
I used the ones that came with the car, best clamps are the spring loaded clamps foresure! As for the suction tool, I found harbor freight alternative that’s cheaper
Thanks for the info @@JoeVazquez - I asked about the clamp kit because I saw one in the background of this video. I'll check into the HF suction kit too
Recently nabbed one of these when my stock rad let go. Went for it once I saw you could run it with the stock fan assembly! Out of curiosity, did you ever have an issue where your fans would curve up to full blast despite the temperature sitting normal? i'm really not sure if it's something with the thermostat, I didn't bleed it enough or something else going on.
Your fans are powered from a relay that gets powered from a coolant temp sensor when your coolant temp is hot but that’s the only time it’ll trickle on! If they’re on all the time then that’s a problem but the fans will still turn on even when the needle is in the middle on your dash! You should be fine honestly unless they’re on even when you turn on your car in the morning for the first time or something
Was wondering what one i needed but im seeinf alot of only manual trans does that really matter? I got the awd automatic but i assume the fans will still be same place hopefully cause im gettin one of these within the week
You mention that you're not having any overheating issues, but does your heater work? I drained and filled my radiator and now I get a bit of heat while driving but at idle (stop light or stop sign) the heat becomes cool air. I took it in to have it power bled and I'm still having the same issue; heat while moving but cool air at idle or stop even with my temp maxed out at 90F.
I believe since mishimoto makes their radiators thick, they give you a new one that makes the radiator fit better! You will have to go and get your ac system serviced so that it works again since you’ll be draining it.
You don’t need a new ac condenser for a performance radiator, that’s why I personally like koyorad since everything is the same just like stock with no additional parts needed!!
Doesn’t really rain in Cali all that often so I haven’t had a real chance to see if it does, they do sell some socks that are water resistant that you put over the filter, those work pretty good!
@@JoeVazquez I am planning on buying G35, Do you face fuel gauge problems, window motor sensor problem, oil leaks etc. And also please provide the liNk for the radiator and the head lights too, thanks in advance
@@geoffreybotha1994 I have gas gauge problems, and window motor problems. And you can find the SpedD headlights on multiple websites like , Redline360 and K2 motor
@@geoffreybotha1994 Check gears, in manual and automatic, sadly my clutch messed up today. If you’re looking for a drift car YES get the G, BUT if you’re looking for a race car then NO, if it’s just for looks definitely get it.
