Kpanlogo is my favorite ! And i love Kokrobitey. During my stay at AAMA in 1996/97 and 1999 (long time...) my teachers were Shamsudeen, Samuel "Sammy" Mensah, the legendary Masterdrummer Mustapha Tettey Addy and also Aja "Tigari" Addy (R.I.P.). I am so very grateful ! Once i had the pleasure to drum for Awudu's dance lesson, playing the two supporting "Fume Fume" rhythms simultanously (each hand one rhythm) for more than one hour. Kids came watching and when it was finished, one of them said to me: "Now you know drumming !" This video brings back joyful memories. Thank you. 😊
Brilliant, so good to see you dancing Awudu! It brings back good memories from over 20 years ago now when Denise, Cally, Alan and myself stayed at AAMA in Kokrobite! I hope you and your family are well, send my love to Michael and his family too.
Okoe was your father? I was so sad when I heard he passed away. You can be very proud. He was an excellent person. I enjoied very mucho talking with him and listening to his music....and learning a little bit about kpanlogo drums! Regards my friend
I am sorry for your loss. When i was in Kokrobitey 1996/97 and 1999, there was a nice man named Okoe, working at Wendy's Place. Could it be him ? Greeting and best wishes to you...

You guys are great, but I want you to start your OWN KOKROBITE CHANNEL on RU-vid so that we Africans in the diaspora can access what's going on back home. I tried looking for your channel but in vain. Thank you. TWA, TWA, TWA. OMANYE ABA
Ghanaians do things that were introduced 200yrs ago, they are not innovative, they stick to the old ways. What they don't realized is that the world is changing and they have to introduce interesting and better way of life.
