I hate when people say that post-2000 Iron Maiden is boring, bad or repetitive. It's unfair to put those labels on them just because they decided to take a different approach to their musical style. I personally never get bored listening to anything they've released since 2000 and much of it is some of the best music they've ever put out. Dance of Death is one of those songs. Maybe it would be cool if you (Giddy) did battles between 80's/90's Maiden songs and 2000's Iron Maiden songs. Something like Wasted Years (1986) vs Different World (2006) or something like that. Great reaction though!

There's little in life more exciting than seeing Maiden live. I've seen them many times over the years and every time from the moment they step onto the stage to the moment they leave it's pretty much just a mass sing along. I’ve been listening and a die hard fan of Iron Maiden since 1981. They have continually improved over the years and the songs they produce are spectacular, not only musically, but visually on stage. Each has a deep meaning and a theme. They are not your average die die kill kill metal band. They are one of the most talented bands in the metal genre. I’m glad you liked them.

Being one of all time favorite bands, their live shows are some of best times in my life. Videos and recordings do not do justice of seeing them live in person, with all the theatrics and lights. I have seen them 6 times and does not matter where you are all the way in back or right up front been in both and in between, always amazing 2 to 2 and half hours where you just can forget everything and just enjoy the moment!

Since we're on the subject of Maiden, you should check out a song called "Infinite Dreams." Not only is it an incredible song but the lyrics make most songs (in general) pale in comparison. Two (pretty different) metal songs to try are Jee Veerey by Bloodywood (an Indian band) and Twilight of the Thunder God by Amon Amarth (a viking metal band). Both are amazing songs by great bands

You should react to more Iron maiden as well as Judas Priest. You only reacted to a bad version of Painkiller and never came back. If there's a heavy metal band on the same level as Iron maiden, Priest probably comes first to my mind and ALOT others as well. And side from being creeped out by Devil in I and hating Psychosocial's harsh vocals why don't you react to "Before I forget" it's a headbanger yet the vocals are so melodic especially in the bridge.
Ok, if you enjoy amazing stage performaces, you need to give a try to rammstein. And since you enjoy the softer side of metal, I would recommend "Engel", "rosenrot" or "Seeman" from them. I believe "Engel" has a wonderful live performance from their "live aus Berlin" DVD.
