Nah fr I used to be a firm kpop hater... I did listen to a lot of groups just to see if I like it but I didn't BUT HOWEVER when I got to skz things changed 😭🤌🏻
I was a kpop hater then I found a tiktok of felix being his sunshine self and then I scroled skz tiktok for like 2 hours sounds stuck in my head added them on spotify and never looked back
That guy is Felix. He pulls a lot of us in. Thats how he got me lol. I'm really not into kpop just Stray Kids. They're on a different level. Their music is fire 🔥
i remember seeing the names on a short or reel? maybe facebook and asking my self whos felix and hyunjin and all they where doing was walking up some stairs but hyunhin grapped felix's hand which i thought was sweet . so since then im a stay
Stray Kids are under the K-POP umbrella, but personally, I do not consider them K-POP. Stray Kids are Stray Kids. They are their own entity. I have tried listening to other 'K-POP' groups - both boy groups and girl groups - and I don't like them. I only like Stray Kids. I am a STAY for life.
I think i get a little what you mean but honestly kpop doesn't have only one sound, kpop is incredibly versatile and not only stray kids have an unique sound, many people only think of bts as kpop and it's not. Kpop is not a melody or anything, the groups under kpop it because it's korean pop, stray kids are kpop because their songs are in Korean as everyone else on that genre. So i'm saying this bcs you say you don't considerate them kpop as if kpop was a sound and every kpop song had a similar melody, but it's not, the only requisite to be a kpop group/idol is that your song has the korean language, that's it.
the way skz turns everyone has to be studied. esp felix's voice LMAO. i was never a kpop hater, i have stanned blackpink since 2016 but i only got more into kpop 6 years later when i heard felix's voice and then fell in love with skz
The thing is that K-pop has a LOT of concepts and song styles, from cute and more child-like songs to dark and mature. So is kinda of impossible to do not to like kpop once you give yourself a chance to look for a group or soloist with the concept and music structure you like
They debuted in 2018 They are ages 22 - 26 Fandom name is Stay They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far... Bang Chan 181 (#3 in KPop) Changbin 152 (#11) Han 148 (#12) Hyunjin 25 Felix 22 I.N 21 Seungmin 20 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers. They are always credited as 3Racha. 3Racha Achievements - Four Time Billboard 200 #1 Producers - Hot 100 Hitmakers - 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography. Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
No way y’all are falling for this again, when will stays learn these people just do it for views, they most definitely already know skz, like that’s not even good acting…
@laststepout is it really cos the first time I got suspicious was when Felix said the cooking like a chef .....part she reacted before he came onscreen or even started singing idk if it's just me🤷
@@Aleekoala1245 exactly, like she’s not reacting, she’s anticipating. So there is no element of surprise, you can see she’s not actually absorbing what she’s watching, she’s just waiting to insert her lines where she knows are the key moments where we would expect a reaction, like felix’s line
she was definitely a kpop stan before this, no offense but this just looks so staged. it feels like she’s acting like she doesn’t like is and then she does after listening to skz for clout and then she will gradually become mostly a kpop reaction channel.
There is something that makes skz (straykids) stand out and it is their title tracks. They follow a very noticeable pattern of loud, catchy music. I recommend you listen to the B-Sides and more than anything those that are thunderous and rock-star.
Why do you guys keep spreading this lie? Felix gets plenty of lines. Recent songs where Felix has many lines: Maniac, Megaverse, LA4, Social Path. You can go check the most recent member line distribution (Rock-star) and he's at the very top. So please stop spreading misinformation.
@@yuzuhanyu What are you talking about? Maniac: Chan, Han, and Changbin have whole verses. Felix gets the drop into the chorus because it's impactful. Megaverse: Changbin, Han, I.N get longer parts (although nobody really has a long part), but again Felix gets the drop into the chorus because it's impactful. Do you see a pattern? He's got a few songs where he has longer parts, but that's not the norm. They know what they're doing.
why do i feel like these reaction videos are fake and people just choose stray kids because they usually get a lot of views when other people genuinely react to them? Like she literally reacted to Felix before the part even started, if u watch closely she already had a “reaction” but Felix didnt even appear yet 😭
Noticed this too and I recognize a kpop stan when I see one. If she really hated kpop why was she like fully switched after the first few seconds of the song and why was Stray Kids the first group she chose to listen to.
SKZ was my first foray into Kpop too! I’ve since learnt that Kpop is not actually a genre but the name for the music industry. Kpop is full of many genres and some groups use many even within one song, like Stray Kids. Some are typical pop, some are harder, some are rock, and many mix it up. Some prefer girl groups, some prefer boy groups, some love both, some only like one group. With all this variety, I have learnt to review groups with a more open mind over time. If you really get into SKZ, they may well end up in your neck of the woods on their upcoming, yet to be announced world tour. By the way, they have so many genres including ballads so if you prefer that style, just ask the fandom (Stay) for suggestions. Enjoy.
@@hyunjinsanity i read online (so take that with a grain of salt) but i heard its because South Koreans extra care of their skin but mostly their face. Also genetics plays a huge role in that. I do wish to meet them someday
Yay more stray kids please! Theyre music is amazing, their music is very diverse and no song sounds the same. Their discography is gonna take you for sure a ride! ❤ hope to watch more stray kids on your channel!
Girl this is the same thing that happened to me: I wasn’t a hater but I wasn’t standing Stray kids but after seeing Felix and hearing his deep voice💗✨😖🤭😻😏🐥🪽😫🐣
I remember I tried being into Kpop years ago, like Blackpink and TxT, but didn't really stick on it/got obsessed and just left, then after 3-4 years, StrayKids changed my perspectives and my entire being, and made me fall for them (just them somehow, since I don't feel the same effect whenever I watch other Kpop groups, I find StrayKids very unique, and that's why I love them
Go down the rabbit hole girl, you won't be disappointed ♡ I'm not a K-pop fan, but I'm 100% a STAY. these boys are something unique and special and in a category all their own
I agree. I.N and his beautiful voice (and self) need more screen time. It's always fun to see someone hear Felix for the first time and see Hyunjin as well. All 8 are so talented and are lovely people.
Felix snatched your attention. That's what he does 😊 Felix effect strikes again. I'm not a k-pop fan, but stray kids just hit different. I have to agree, they are their own entity. In my opinion, k-pop looks up to them lol
The people who still say "skz music is noisy!!" if they didn't know Skz has an album called "Noeasy" which sounds like 'Noisy' so they should've gotten the hint skz were been noisy/loud since 2021 & debut era.
honestly the only people on the skz hate train are the edgy stans on twitter who just hate just for the sake of hating which is really funny because once you get off there everyone else loves stray kids LOL
I just argued with someone on Twitter about a few days ago and I asked them why do you anti Skz and they straight up said It was because everyone was doing It, some of them don't even have valid reasons @@oddinarily 🤔
i used to not like kpop but then i got a bit in enhyphen then found stray kids. god how much is changed. in a matter of like 6 months i have so many posters in my room 😭
If you listen to more Straykids, Ateez, BTS, Seventeen, The Rose, OneOKRock, Treasure, Mamamoo, this will take you down a huge rabbit hole that will make you very happy. And this just scratches a small bit of the surface. 💜
Literally my friend is kpop hater too, I begged her to listen to social path. When Felix part came, I said, that he can go even deeper (with him voice) my friend was literally like: "Bro really!? No way" Then I showed the God's menu, and she was genuinely SHOKED
