I hope you start paying attention to the recommendations written in RU-vid comments and not just Discord. If I wanted to recommend songs by Seventeen, I would have mentioned songs much better than these.

28:42 you can called out to songs as a carat i dont have any problem with that as everyone has different taste and liking in music. But saying ''13 having in one group is dumb'' is a not a statement to do, They still managed to have most ''eqaul line distribution in kpop'', managed to be ''King of synchronization'', ''performance powerhouse of kpop'', ''Theater kids of kpop''. They debuted as 13 and they are in their 10th year as a 13 member. Also they have already said about song recommendation in the end, they don't want to explore svt so dont give them.

"if you have 13 people, which you shouldn't" oh thanks, but i don't know how anybody could decide that when they're already successful, loved AND rich AS 13! and the funny thing is mingyu literally called such bs out IN THAT SAME SONG and how people always had some condescending sh1t to say about them. though it may suck but they did pretty well with their face the sun album where they had no unit songs.. also, music is subjective and svt as a whole group, has done tons of genre and i don't think these songs really encapsulate their diverse musicality. there's a "lot of them" but they all contribute a lot in the group's whole presence.

Imagine reacting to K-pop already knowing you hate it. So their fans can click on your videos and sit and watch you tear to shreds their favorite artist one video after another.

In my opinion, these songs are not the best entry point to start knowing Seventeen's music.I would suggest you start with left & right, dont wanna cry, super, Aju Nice, god of music, run to you, Hot, Fear, Heaven's cloud and Home Run. seventeen actually has more bright and fresh songs in their discography. if you want focus to their vocals then To You, Kidult, Run To You, Don't Listen in secret it's one oh the best choice

definitely will need to listen to some older seventeen songs like AJU Nice, Clap and Don't Wanna Cry to see a more fuller and diverse kind of Seventeen. I feel by covering the sub units in this video you wouldn't get to fully appreciate the raw power that Seventeen has to offer.

I will give your reaction a 1.2. You did not even talk about the lyrics to ANY of the songs, except for Ready to Love and that was only to mock them. You did not have anything in detail to say about the Spell MV and I've seen you guys compliment GIRL group MVs for less. You started to question their passion for music because you didn't like the delivery of ONE line in ONE song, that's just crazy. Seventeen have some of the BEST vocals in the industry and none of these song show cased that. Whoever chose these songs really dropped the ball, because their discography is one of the best.

They from my understanding are more the performance and the dancing but they also do sing and rap as so does all the other members. I am of the opinion that a lot of the recent seventeen releases have not touched the quality of their earlier ones like don't want wanna cry, aju nice, etc. And those are what I believe are truly representative of seventeen's music. In general especially when reacting to older groups, I hope this channel picks better songs and not only go off from discord. I'm guessing alot of the community members within your channel are newer kpop fans.

You don't have to like seventeen but these song choices were abysmal. Leaving out their hits and then put two out of three unit songs in this is such a bad choice... This "Minghao" gave you a list of his favorits and not the best ones to get into the group. Giving a performance team song to reactors that aren't interested in performance and music videos is crazy! Lalali is a bob same as Cheers to Youth by the Vocal team but that conviniently isn't in the mix... Also I get that you didn't like the songs but don't unnecessarily make fun of the group. They came from a small company with little to no funds and build themselfs up to beat the curse of the 7 year mark and are now in their 10th year after being told by everyone that they wouldn't make it. They aren't just self produced but self made and one of the closest groups in the industry, according to everyone who works or interacts with them in the industry. You don't have to explore svt, if you don't want to, but I just wanted you to know that.

Actually, I wish y'all reacted to Seventeen's Killing Voice episode instead. It's a show where kpop idols go to sing snippets of their songs, title tracks and b-sides alike, and Seventeen's Killing voice episode in particular has actually attracted a lot of new fans/ carats ever since it's release. Their vocals shine in that show as well. I STRONGLY recommend you two to watch it/ react to it together because I really feel it's such a shame that these were the songs that was being suggested for people who know nothing about Seventeen's discography in the first place. First listens with these songs is not easy.

Though I actually understand where you guys are coming from, that these songs are probably not the best introduction to seventeen (I would not pick these either) I find it a bit amusing that almost everyone is saying these guys dislike the songs this much because the recommendations completely suck. Now, yes, these are not my favorite seventeen songs especially ready to love 👀, but they are still not horrible AT ALL. I personally really love lalali, fear and maestro has kind of grown on me. The person who recommended these might have genuinely liked them (and I think seventeen really like them as well 🤧) You guys are going ahead to recommend songs like don't wanna cry, left and right, aju nice, hit and so on, but I can almost guarantee that they would not like those songs any better 😐 Judging by their reactions, I feel the need to conclude that 70% (if not more) of svt's discography would not be their taste. I don't see the need to recommend more and endure more pain 🤧😭 Their label is literally 'Kpop Hater' it should not come as too much of a surprise after clicking on this video that they don't like these songs (not that I understand why they are then bothering to react to them though) I do want to comment on the comment about the size of their group. It works for them, the line distribution works fairly well. Some members shine more in some releases, others in others. They've been together for many years with the fandom, and no one has a problem with it. So I am pretty sure it works for them. Really this is not a good start to getting to know SVT. Well, I don't blame you, it's just that the song choice was wrong. it's a bad idea to listen to a 'maestro' and 'fear' for the first time. especially when you don't know anything about SVT. if it were me then I would suggest 'rock with you' or 'left and right' or 'home run'. Y'all just continue to check off my favs with every review. 😂 Wait till you guys get into the subgroups and now solos. My bias is the Leader/Producer Woozi ❤ and Hoshi is my wrecker. The songs that were chosen were from their latest album for the most part which doesn't show off their discography as a whole and every comeback they want to try different genres. They got mixed reviews on Maestro because of the overuse of "AI" some k-pop fans can't tell the difference between CGI and AI these days😂. Spell has the SVT Performance team which is my favorite track on from the album. FML won them major Awards last year and hopefully you guys get to hear Super in the future, Seventeenth Heaven, You Make my Dawn, Attaca, Your Choice are their best albums. They usually come out with two albums one being way better than the other in a year and they usually score major awards at the end of the year award shows.

The only song I knew of SEVENTEEN before watching you guys' reaction was Left and Right and I love it, but sadly wasn't in this lineup. Also, those songs weren't nearly as bad as you guys make them out to be. It was a first time listen for me as well and I thought they were all good songs and whatever you guys criticized was weird and oddly knit picky. Not a fan of this reaction tbh. Maybe the next one will be better.

Pledis was not originally under Hybe, it was bought in 2020, so seventeen did not have any privileges of being under a popular label, they fought hard for themselves and their company. I feel like there were better songs to chose to represent Seventeen than the ones picked, (nothing against the songs chosen, I love them) but since there were two of three unit songs chosen, when they are supposed to be reacting to the whole group, wasnt a very good pick to show their style. Again with saying they should cut members... Theres a way of voicing your opinion without being disrespectful "If you're going to have seventeen people, which you shouldnt" theres no need to be rude. Spell is the performance unit so thats probably why it seemed more focused in the MV or the dance. This is not the vocal unit (although all of them can sing) Hip-Hop : 4 members S.
