They grew up watching Blackpink and want to be like them, and for Blackpink, that will be an honor. Newer k-pop groups will 100% look on what worked for these groups, how they dressed, how they acted etc. Personally, I think it's normal, especially if the groups are copied by the groups who are debuting under the same company. BABYMONSTER is just the first of a few or many. Just like NewJeans is doing incredibly well right now, in the future, other groups will try their concepts and what not. People will always hate but, this is music after all, it's almost impossible to come with a new concept & image. 80's music is popping off again with The Weeknd and Dua Lipa taking inspiration from that era, Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole are the best representation of true rappers who stated inspiration from Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, Pac etc. K-Pop is relatively "new" to some degree, to the international audience at least. If it ain't broke, why fix it? And in theory, if people are copying them, then all these artists are copying the first artists who ever did music in the first place a few hundred of years ago.
