For Seventeen, the one that was filming separately is S.Coups! He’s the leader and he had to film alone because he tore his ACL and is still recovering. Also the pretty, red haired on that you liked is Jun, he’s one of the Chinese members of the group. And the goofy one you adored is DK, very much considered the sunshine of the group. About it being worn outside the music video tho it depends on each member and sometimes I think they wear it during live show stages.

Tbh The Boyz have gradually amped up the sexiness over time, when they started out they were cute and energetic (my fave song from their early years is Giddy Up, it's still a great one), then they had more of a badass phase (when they participated in Road To Kingdom, then Kingdom), and now they're just... shamelessly flirty, for lack of a better term.

At first glance you could think Dreamcatcher's OOTD is about them being proud and happy with themselves, about confidence. I don't think that is it though. The album is called VersuS VillainS, which makes me think it is not this simple. So I believe this song is meant as a criticism of narcissism, vanity, materialism and also (maybe) the fast fashion industry. "OOTD" stands for "Outfit of the Day" after all, maybe it's about useless instagram influencers posting videos of their outfit of the day, which also promotes fast fashion. The fact that fashion is moving ever faster makes it the most destructive industry to the planet apart from the fossil fuel industry. The Aral lake has all but disappeared because of the cotton industry for example. It would fit to the Villain image, and you can see in the MV that they are acting. It is shown in the scene where Yoohyeon and Handong are fighting, but then the camera is off and Handong helps Yoohyeon up. The main reason why I don't think it is about confidence or their own success is the line "Driving on the highway, drunken everyday, do you feel like a monster?" and the album title. That just doesn't fit. And there was the ymenehcra (arch enemy backwards) account posting about touching a crown is dangerous and other cryptic messages before the comeback. It could also be a big and well-hidden F*U to the Kpop industry, like the Nightmare arc probably was. The narcissism and materialism is definitely criticized here, and Dreamcatcher have been criticized a lot themselves because of their rock/metal concept, while other groups have been celebrated for using a guitar riff once in a song. And Handong standing in front of the camera with bruises all over her legs seems to be a comment on the merciless industry as well. The music is highly interesting as well. The Rock is dirty and distorted. The song structure is not what you'd expect at all, for me it is punk rock meets K-Pop. Not their usual spiel, but a very good progression. It takes a couple of listens to really appreciate it.

Dreamcatcher has 4 lore heavy storylines. 1. Nightmare Arc (6 MV + 1 Japanese MV “alternate ending”) (the spider Queen turns the girls into nightmares due to one of them trying to kill her. There is more and some insomnia have made videos talking about the storyline) 2. Dystopian Arc (3 MV) (these are about cyber bullying, suicide, fake online utopias and such) 3. Apocalypse Arc (3 MV) (these are about global warming, war and humans ruining the world) 4. Versus Arc (2 MVs with OOTD being the first of the two. Still waiting on the second one) (this is “supposedly about hero’s and villains. The first one OOTD is about vanity, narcissism and influencers. Can also be seen as a diss towards the world of kpop. They use “modern” music and trends to portray villains who try to lure you with power and fame. It has a huge ARG “alternate realty game” story attached that everyone has been piecing together. It’s super involved) All these have their own storyline and huge lore behind them. Their individual MVs not connected to these ones have huge lore but are confined to that MV only.

a group that i think really delivers when it comes to absolute bi panic inducing content is KARD. They’re a co-ed group & their song Icky is one of my favs!

You CAN DO IT! Stan SEVENTEEN. I held out for like 3 years because of "too many members" and I regret it to this day. They are everything. They are ULT group right next to BTS in my ARMY Heart.

The corners of her lips curl up a little bit, and it makes her remind me of a Cheshire Cat, with her facial expressions. She’s the youngest of the group. Dami is the deep voice rapper you said you fell in love with, that you’ve said has “lesbian rizz” (you right). If you're looking for more The Boyz and haven't seen it already, I highly recommend Roar! The MV for Roar became a top MV for me last year because it's just so well edited, and of course the song is fire too. Dreamcatcher OOTD also made my top MV list this year! It's so beyond creative. The theming of the song is interesting too - it feels empowering but also the visuals feel obsessive or arrogant? Like the selfie taking, on their phones in the elevator, cameras everywhere, manufactured scenes. It's almost like the two sides to being confident and how it can become extreme when coupled with social media. OMG WHEN YOU MENTIONED SUCKER PUNCH. I didn't think anyone knew about that movie!! But you're so right, that superhero landing with the sword is so Sucker Punch coded! aespa always has amazing videos and great vocals. It's so cool seeing you react to new groups! Kpop is honestly so fun, and we don't even have to stan everyone but we can still have a good time! For aespa they did their own stunts as can be seen in the behind the scenes of their MV filming. Karina went to action school to perform the action scene in Drama. aespa are also known for their nail game (most are press on designed for the concepts they do) but the girls seem to go to the nail salon a lot for their more everyday nails. Glad you loved aespa, they are such a talented and beautiful group. For Dreamcatcher the lore is usually presented in the form of a trilogy, except for the Nightmare series, that took up the first 2 and a half years of their career. OOTD is the first chapter of the VersuS series, just like Boca was the second of Dystopia series, which was about hate spreech. So happy that you are enjoying the songs, I would also recommend Deja Vu, a stand alone realease favored by a lot of fans. But be aware, just like Jiu said Dreamcatcher is like a black hole, once you entered, there's no coming back haha

As someone who is been almostly excusively listening to Kpop for some years now, I will say you can find what you like. If you love amazing choreo, it is there (I would argue for Seventeen there), if you love vocals, it is there, if you love rock, that exists, if you love lore, that is there too, and so on. I really apreciate how the artists are willing to do lives and varity shows so we can see more of their personalities.

The Boyz don’t really have a continuous lore. But watch it is from the 2nd part of their 3 parts album, Phantasy. The title track of the first part is “Lip Gloss” which is more bright and refreshing, kinda like a summer romance fantasy. Watch it is more of a dark fantasy. Lip Gloss mv is fun tho. You should check it out! If you want to see a mv with good editing, i recommend ROAR too. The Boyz has been doing both bright and dark concepts and i would love to see which side you like more😊

I have to say it's worth it to at least learn about Seventeen despite 13 of them. That was the only reason that I had to not stan them and now they are my ults alongside Stray kids. Love them. If you are looking for more recomendations for them I would say, Home;Run , _Home , Super , and also their killing voice is SOOO good and worth it if your want to see what kind of music they make. My love for Seventeen started with Killing Voice - it's otherworldly: technically, dynamically, and wonderfully showing their relationships and group dynamics. I regret resisting them for so long. Thanks for reacting to drama! If u interested enough in storyline aespa's previous releases are like omnibus film. A story between the members and their æ member to defeat the black mamba. Its like a futuristic fantasy story going on. The respective order are: Black Mamba > Next Level > Savage > Girls. As the story goes it actually means more to the story of aespa. Like how the preassure of expectation for their debut is big since they come from a big company, to what haters say trying to bring them down (which all potray as the villan, the black mamba) to them winning against the black mamba. This all are in the MVs, the lyrics, and the SMCU film released in their ytb page. And on top of that the production value is insane. From the real props, the editing of greenscreens, the musical details, to the member acting that took them to learnt matrial arts is just 🤌🏻
