Most of this information is reasonably accurate. But all the stuff about "main" this, "lead" (and "lead = second") that and "sub" stuff is nonsense. There are no rankings like that. To this day, nobody can find any rankings like that mentioned on anything official from the group or from the group's company...and there is literally no reason to even assign stiff position rankings like that in the first place. Such rankings and pigeon-holing are the fevered obsession of certain types of fans and that's all they are. Rigid position rankings are just fan fiction that some fans have made up and spam all over the internet and it gets repeated by the obsessive compulsive rankers of everything so often that many fans mistakenly think that it's true and even some Kpop media just repeats such rankings without confirming anything. Melon, for example has never confirmed any such position rankings as having come from any official source. They just repeat it and often have many things wrong on their site (e.g. listing Jisoo as having a specialty in dance and listing Yang Hyun Suk as being an active balladeer in Kpop). Kpop Profiles had/has a footnote admitting that they were never able to confirm any position rankings with YG (Blackpink's company) and just copied their list from Melon. The only thing the group and the group's company ever said about their specialties and roles in the group are as follows: Jisoo -- Vocals; Jennie -- Vocals/Rap; Rosé -- Vocals; Lisa -- Rap/Dance. This was announced at their official "Blackpink Debut Showcase" in 2016. Nothing has changed. They aren't ranked according to any "main" (first) or "lead" (second) rankings in anything. (And, linguistically, it's nonsense to make "lead" into a second position. In all English-speaking culture, "main" and "lead" are synonymous when talking about a person's prominence in a particular position.) They're all able to perform various roles. The specialties indicated when they were introduced and debuted simply indicate the types of roles they were expected to perform the most often in group songs. They all dance, sing and rap to some extent. Lisa and Jennie do the most rapping, with Lisa doing more overall in the discography, since Jennie splits more with singing parts. Jisoo, Rosé and Jennie generally do more singing than Lisa. They all dance, but Lisa's exceptional skills and experience in dancing are frequently acknowledged, recognized and praised by the members of the group. But the group choreography does not highlight it and it has been mentioned several times that she mostly helps in rehearsals and giving guidance behind the scenes. Mostly her individual dancing skills are channeled into her solo work and individual projects.

Yup, that's because good Blackpink & BTS reactors, have the most loyal, active, & the 2 largest fandoms in Kpop. Blinks & Army are quick to support their Girls & boys. Unfortunately, once reactors realize that these 2 groups bring in the most amount of views,likes, & subs. They become disingenuous, exaggerate the hypes, & give poor content, in their effort to post as many vids as possible. In order to raise those numbers in their channel. I'm good at calling BS, & am not afraid to call them out.

There's also the fake so-called "Blinks", that act toxic. They pretend to be fans of BP, to give the bad wrong impression. They are desperate, to give BP & Their fandom a bad reputation. 😑

@@IfAllElseFails_Ctrl_Alt_Del when a person creates a RU-vid channel and starts uploading videos. what they want is to have subscriptions and views keep increasing. that's just normal for all RU-vidrs as it will also bring them profit. the more the better. in fact the profit can be very big if they are big enough. anyway back to Kpop reaction channels, it's understandable for them to do what you have said, nevertheless the viewers are still the ones to decide to watch or not. from RU-vid's point of view, the higher the video view is, the better the profit will be given to the own of the video. not the subscriptions. the reason is all about Ads.

This.... Plus, it's worth noting that one of the worst is actually just one person who has several sock-puppet accounts. At first, if they appear, it can seem like a bunch of immature, demanding fans. But it's just one person. You can usually spot them because they have basically the same complaints, they're very demanding (talking like they own your channel), they post at around the same time. Some of the names they use often are Johnny Sims, Sonic Youth and several others. Their focus is usually on Rose, demanding reactions that focus on her. And they get the most upset when they see Lisa getting attention. If they show up, you'll know (now that you know what to expect). Best thing is to ignore them, or consider them to be a good subject for psychological studies. (And of course delete their comments if they try to spam everything with the same complaint over and over from various sock puppet accounts.)

Technically he said they can sing in English and Japanese. Which is true, a lot, if not most Kpop groups can sing in at least some English and Japanese(those being the biggest foreign markets for Kpop). I took it as him explaining that they can sing in other languages besides their native Korean. It was a compliment. Be less sensitive geez.

Stop being ridiculous. Their discography is normal size for pop groups outside of Kpop. In Kpop most groups have ridiculously over-inflated discographies that are meaningless because most of the many, many, many albums of other groups (often 4 or 5 per year and many of them issued in multiple versions of the same thing) are full of fillers that nobody remembers or cares about...because most Kpop groups just focus on selling as many albums as possible in as short a time as possible...because they can't get the kind of huge global brand deals that Blackpink gets, so they have to rely on smaller fandoms repeatedly buying stuff. Meanwhile, Blackpink's b-side tracks (the ones that aren't promoted with videos and so on) are almost always bigger hits than most other groups' main songs. And most other groups' b-side tracks are so forgettable that even their most dedicated fans can't remember what they are. Blackpink's main tracks get billions of views. Blackpink's audio-only b-side tracks get hundreds of millions of views each...often on unofficial audio-only uploads. Blackpink's dance practice videos even get hundreds of millions of views each and one of them has more than a billion views by itself. Blackpink just completed a record-setting world tour this past year, consisting of 70 performances in many of the largest stadiums and arenas in 24 different countries of the world (66 as part of their official tour and 4 by special invitation including two nights at Coachella, one night at BST Hyde Park in London and one night performing at the official French charity concert (with a live orchestra, world-famous cellist and world famous violinist), "Le Gala des Pieces Jaunes 2023". Their Coachella performances had global live-streaming audiences of over 200 million. But all you know about is underwear, which indicates where your mind probably is most of the time.
