This animation is a huge downgrade in comparision to Popstars. All the dance moves are a bit clumsy, mainly the moves during 3:02 and when Seraphine joins the other girls. But that's not something that destroys the experience, which matter is the song and the skins after all.

Like you mentioned, KDA tracks have such a massive sounding presence that feels like its just punching through. Their tracks have a distinct spaciness and wideness to it.

As a producer myself, I truly love your approach to music writing. I feel like a lot of producers get caught up in trends and aesthetics. I feel like if you focus on what makes intrinsically great, such as structure and and the dynamics between different parts of the song aesthetics is just becomes packaging and you can write amazing tracks in almost any genre. Idk where you stand on that? :)

Something I've noticed after watchjng videos of people react to this song is that they're so much more appreciative of the music, the artists and the actual effort that went into this song. I watched the live premiere of this and every other comment was "f*** Seraphine" or something along those lines. While I'm not a League player, I absolutely love KDA and the music they make. It's disappointing to see the actual fandom for losing their shit over a fictional character and disliking the video before even hearing the song, so thank you for thinking more about the music and the work that was put into it.

Actually her hate came from her lore, some for her design and her gameplay. People didn't feel like she belong in the lore of League of Legends like me and some criticize her design for not being aligned with the aesthetic or theme of her region. Her gameplay was very eerily similar or even better to another champion. Also there are people who just hate her because everyone does. I hope you understand now!

@@arpiabu-alrub7484 3 out of 4 of her abilities and her passive are an improved version of another music-themed champion, her aesthetic and lore don't fit with the world of League's universe, her KDA lore is way more fleshed out than her Runeterra (lol universe) lore and she's coming out with an ultimate skin (the most expensive type) while there are champions who have been in the game for years and still haven't recieved a new skin since their release. All in all she seems like a giant cash grab and a lot of players don't like it. I don't agree with them focusing on the hate for Seraphine under the newest video, cause yes, the production is amazing and it's sad that it's not getting enough recognition, but at the same time, I don't blame people for it, because this song is the main purpose for which Seraphine was created and from a player's perspective it's just not cool.

Really loved your review but everytime you said "the riot team" while talking about the MV, it was wrong xD The Riot team did the music but the MV was entirely made by a scottish studio named "Axis Studio", same for the first one who was made in France by "Fortiche Studio", so yeah no, credit to riot for the music but peoples should credits thoses studio for their massive work on all the MV..

OK. What an analysis!!! I went to school for music and especially love to hear the thoughts of others who remain in the industry on various songs. Phrygian dominant, actually, with the major 3rd. I noticed having an ambiguous major/minor tonality is a huge through line in a lot of K/DA songs. Nice video my guy!

What I find interesting with the bass is how it compliments the arp/chop melody in the chorus? Its delayed but goes up down up down. It’s super intriguing and an interesting choice, especially with how dirty and gritty it sounds. Wouldn’t be surprised if the bass was just a pitched down and edited version of the arps lmao. Could be wrong tho, I just slightly picked up on that aspect.
