Feels so good to get technical reviews and feedback for Queendom. Some say this is a safe comeback from them, I would say it's just right. Plus, the album itself is absolute fire.

RedVelvet just doesnt really follow anyones trend. They are making the trend and rules. Thats why they are unique.

Honestly the song is quite minimal but it's right up my alley especially that intro with that super laid back verse 1 also I agree with it kinda going against the grain of what's trending at the moment (SM be like).

a lot of people feel like it needs a few more listens haha but delivering something that feels very bubblegum during a time when jams like that are no longer in style feels great

I have a feeling that they did a great job choosing this song for the title track. Yes, some people complain that this is too simple for Red Velvet. But their vocals can make any song more interesting and, to be honest, people will always complain no matter what. But other songs from mini album are more Red Velvet, especially Pose. It would be great if you reacted to that. Or at least listen on your own and share your opinion.

Actually I'd argue the trend (if you look at cb's the past month) is super cute gg concepts or at the very least very happy uplifting/healing songs (weeekly, fromis 9, rv). I honestly think there's a current trend for happier songs given covid and the state of the world.

It didn't make my playlist but it has grown on me with repeated listens of the album. 4 of the 6 songs did make it though and I'll always appreciate Red Velvet trying new things.

Where twice AF reaction?

So im worried about all the groups that are like 7-9 yrs old right now (your BTS, Twice, RV, etc). It feels like the companies are easing all of them into retirement/out to pasture. hear me out......comebacks are coming less frequently, all those groups' companies have younger groups that recently debuted or upcoming (and in the case of Twice there's already itzy as well as an upcoming gg). But the main reason.......all the songs that have been released are all similar in the sense that each group has released a song that a) has a STRONG HOOK and b) the song is just sort built around it and there aren't the normal kpop drops, genre shifts, sections (in your words). I know the amount of effort to make a song is HUGE but it seems like the a lot of the more inventive songs (and choreography especially which I haven't mentioned) are going to the younger groups. Maybe it's just me but gives me a bad feeling for all these groups (and in all honesty i kind of have history on my side given how all these companies have operated with groups around this age in the past). All that being said.....I "enjoyed": this song. The hook is an earworm and it's an easy bop!
