Honestly i think NCT is the best (for all the people i know) to start off with if they have a edm/ trap kinda taste (and Hobogoblin cause its litt) But if they have a slower, ballad type taste, i think maybe Big Bang..? In the first month I listened to kpop, it was only BTS. Now, i'm into them since August 2018 and after that I slowly started liking Blackpink, Seventeen, Twice and few others but one of my favourite kpop groups is now Got7. They have amazing and beautiful music, their singing and rapping is on point but I think their dancing can improve. Lol what I actually wanted to say is that I'm falling into kpop faster then ever. BTS is still my favourite group though

Haha lol, actually, I became a huge k-pop fan after my friend showed me ring ding dong. At first I laughed so hard throughout te video that tears literally rolled down my cheeks. Then I was like: "actually, that song is kinda catchy"... and then I wanted to learn the dance and long story short; became a hardcore k-pop fan. But I would definitely recommend to show something a bit more mainstream to your friends to get them into k-pop :p

Here is some songs not to recommend (based on my experience) DNA - BTS: I love that song but the reason for that is, my friends like the music but they judged the music video for looking like they're drug addicts (WTH girl) and that just turned them off. Taemin - Move: I love that song myself but people judge it for the 'gay like behavior' Let him be himself she-sus Shinee - Ring Ding Dong: That's for Kpop trash only Big Bang - Fantastic baby: My sister didn't listen to big bang until I showed her fxxt it after that. Exo - Power: The music is catchy but the mv is weird even for me. Orange Caramel - Catallena: Just don't There is more but I cba

Man I must be the only one not making a big deal about Wanna One... I just can't seem to find any interest but oh well. Love Stray Kids though! Listened to Hellevator fully the other day and don't regret it. (Great video as usual! ) ❤️ Am I the only one who would show Voodoo Doll? I mean, both MVs are great. same for me too:/ i only have 3 friends whos into kpop but the old generation kpop. They dont even know the new kpop bands. they dont even know sf9, pentagon, blanc7 etc... like they dont know any of the band that debuted starting 2014 till now. i do have some non kpop friends and when i tried to show them, it was for the same stupid reasons like they look gay, wear too much makeup etc... i only succeeded to make one of my friend into kpop and now shes so into kpop especially BTS.

That's so weird! I had a similar situation. Gangnam style was probably my first KPOP mv (didn't really classify it as KPOP) and then my first boy group/song that I found was BTS- Dope then I ended up getting in to KPOP because of GOT7 (my ultimate bias group💚). I just thought it was funny that we both found the same groups/artist first and then got hooked on KPOP because of GOT7😁
