Imagine the amount of phone calls we receive from angry customer's waiting on parts, when there is nothing we can do! The warranty side is horrible right now. The public needs to understand this as well, before you leave a bad review on a company, that has been around for years!

All of you reading this. If you played along with covid. If you wore your mask, took your shot, and self isolated.. YOU are to blame for this. YOU are to blame for the destruction of the supply lines and YOU should be ashamed of yourselves for being so easily manipulated

Ahhh,, First World Problems in the 21st century, lol. I grew up with old school,,,1950s ,60s refrigerators, stoves. Those old behemoths everyday folks learned how to repair themselves. No fancy computer chips, etc.

Those fridges were much easier to fix. Get out of here with your nonsense.

We need more videos like this. It's tragic when the news is filled with crime and terror.

Who would have thought outsourcing parts manufacturing would lead to any problems? It's not as if people like myself have been saying so since DAY ONE!

Supply chain for parts. But supply chain for replacement too.

It's a shame that products produced today don't last long and are poorly made. I own a Whirlpool washer, purchased in 1986, that still works beautifully and has never broken down. Too many cheap parts and electronics in today's appliances. My Frigidaire side-by-side fridge, purchased in 2002, died in 2017. Always had trouble with the ice maker and the water dispenser until I quit using both.

This new stuff today is straight garbage. My father had a refrigerator that lasted him 28 years. Soon as he bought a new one it had so many problems to come with it. Now it sits in his garage.

Ive accepted the fact that any appliance i get is gonna die within a year. I'm not buying expensive ones either. Buy cheap and get em on sale. Just like our phones they want us replacing these every year.

Appliances can last longer, but it takes some general maintenance to keep them running smooth. No different than an automobile or power tool.

If techs weren’t over ordering parts we wouldn’t have part shortages. This is there way of getting out of a lengthy job. “Order parts”.

Good theory, but it has more to do with broken supply chains. Shutting down the economy did not hep

So you didn’t notice that this never happened before people decided to play covid?. You don’t think the shutting down of businesses. And People not going to work has anything to do with it?. How dense are you?

@@miketate9199Its none of that. All production was moved to China to sustain cheaper labor costs, which meant lower quality control and defective parts out of the box, as well as big box manufacturers now building models off of the Chinese appliance brands at an unchanged poor quality. When covid hit, imports were ceased. When imports were reopened, there was a massive silicon shortage, which is a primary component of PCB boards and adhesives. Because of this, appliances needing boards, compressor relays, etc were SOL. And ironically, the parts that were available were used to push out the same models failing. That opened the doors to appliance companies struggling, because we could not complete calls, customers were agitated at us and taking the anger out on us, manufacturers were throwing us under the bus all the time, and you had shoddy work on facebook marketplace units where a DIY hackjob had cut and spliced wires or dumped freon in leaky systems, and created even bigger messes. I can tell you the very year it all started too. Late 2018, right before covid happened.

Samsung is actually very reliable . Whirlpool Kitchenaid Maytag Amana GE all built in China. LG makes good products but they have had issues with their linear compressors. Nothing made in USA anymore and quality control is out the window. These are the products that the green new deal brings to you.
