I have visited Krabi twice staying in Ao Nang on both occasions back in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020, and absolutely loved it much more than Phuket. I did do that Mangrove Forest, Monkey Trail, and Krabi Town as well as doing all the beaches like Railey, 4-Islands, Hong Islands, Phi Phi Islands and Klong Muang beach too. But also climbed up to Tiger Cave Temple, did the Emerald Pool and the Hot Springs as well.
WOW you did a ton!! We talked about doing the Tiger Cave Temple, but the heights were pretty much a no-go😅 Krabi's incredible though. The beaches are some of the best we've ever seen anywhere. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!
We recommend another place: Wat Bang Riang, Thap Put District, Phang Nga Province and Tham Phi Hua To, Ao Luek District, which has prehistoric paintings.
I think you'll find y'all mixed your beaches up. The first beach after the monkey trail walk with Centara Grand is Pai Plong Beach. Tonsai is only accessible by longtail and you definitely can walk from Tonsai to Railay, either via the beach at low tide or via the jungle for little tougher walk. 😊😊 Ao Nang Beach > Pai Plong Beach > Tonsai Beach > Railay West.

We remembered that you guys got there by hiking but we had such a hard time finding the entrance! Maybe we were in the wrong spot 😅 but everyone we asked said they didn't think there was a path. Hope we get to see y'all again soon!
