An interview with Ralf Hütter on Beacon Radio, 14th of June, 1981, before their concert in Birmingham Odeon the same day.
Note that the audio recording is incomplete, it's less than 30 minutes long. I added the last few questions in text. Also I noticed I made a writing mistake in the video, it should be "road" not "roadm" of course.

Nice to hear the early Kraftwerk songs. Some I heared were: Atem Ruckzuck Stratovarius Wellenlänge Strom Autobahn Radioactivity The Voice Of Energy Abzug The Hall of Mirrors The Robots Spacelab Numbers Computer World It's More Fun to Compute Pocket Calculator Computer World 2

If i wouldn't have heard Ralf voice i would have thought this interview was fake seeing how Ralf and Kraftwerk usually behaves with the press. This is amazing, Thank you very much for this. The ""unplugged"" version of Pocket Calculator... just great!

+sas147741 - Beacon Radio was a very cutting edge station and this kind of interview wasn't unusual. The station began by promoting obscure bands which it thought were worthy of a wider audience.
