The Krag was always the perfect headclicker weapon, Im not surprised at all that it's insanely good as a sniper variant

Biggest problem with the Krag is ammo is near impossible to find, best Ive found is like $5 USD per bullet which is insane

I have an idea guys, lets remove aaaall the guns in the game because long ammo is good in distance fights, shotguns are good in close range, so to make everyone happy we will all play combat axe only, how about that?

I actually really like the Krag, but I do wish they would've given it a Marksman scope instead.

I think the Krag in general is kind of broken currently - on it's own, it has close to unsustainable ammo economy. With the Sparks pistols, it's OP instead (same issue as with the Avto - the devs really need to take a look at that, and I think they are IIRC). But the Krag Sniper specifically is a different issue. I call it Hunt's first semi-auto sniper. It's just ridiculously fast and if someone can hit headshots consistently, theay are going to be a nightmare to fight against.

Only wished for a marksmen variate but the krag is still great none the less

headsman has been the one skin lately that has been really annoying because its hard too see. not quite as bad as cane but pretty close and I have my monitor settings to be a close to peak visibility as I can stand.

I don’t like the krag, maybe it’s just me or I haven’t used it enough but it seems all I get is hit markers I headshot people more consistently with the martini I also hope they add a deadeye I’d try it

If you ask me I still to this day stand by the idea but they need to add a hunt dollar bank limit... the whole idea of the game is not only supposed to be risk versus reward on a bass level and it would be nice if there's also the concept that if you go over your Banks limit, that extra money gets converted into blood bonds making it even easier to get Legendaries without having to pay money so and also krycek wouldn't have to worry about people trying to climb up a predatory marketing practices as much but also most of all, part of what supposed to balance the long and weapons is there supposed to be more expensive and more risky to bring but the people who can get the most benefit from all the most powerful guns are the ones with all the money too so not only is the entirety of basically especially the upper-tier filled with people running around with the best of the best of weapons constantly but there's also just a baseline fact vanity basically encourages the concept of the new players hitting their heads beaten in by the experienced players who basically getting 0 weaknesses with all that they can bring

Seems that at the least since you're shooting long ammo so fast your ears should ring quickly with the Krag

Hard disagree it will be the new meta, especially after people were saying this when the regular krag released and it died out in favor of the mosin and lebel. That two tap range is about a 31% difference, which is huge because they can headshot the exact same with them all being between 610ms-630ms. The mosin and lebel bring consistency the krag doesn't, and that damage difference also translates to a much different one tap range on downed hunters.

Never run FMJ on Krag Sniper

All these people crying about it are not even playing at this guys level. A shot to the body and the a follow up to a limb will not kill, a downed hunter cannot be one shot. These things are what matter more than “clicking heads” which you can do with any other weapon, not to mention at max cycle rate

Personaly i still prefer Cente Sniper, super tight hipfire, more ammo, i am not forced to run sparks pistol and for the ranges i play at the medium ammo of cente is fine
