The coolest version of this song I've ever heard! Incredible work, man! 13 years was just the amount of time that you needed to charge up your powers and release this banger!

This remix blows both Melee & Ultimate's versions of Kraid out of the water. It's nice to know that Bowser & Zelda slayed in the choir bits. I loved how the top & bottom left Jonnys do a wave. Yet another song to add to my GaMetal folder collection & my GaMetal RU-vid playlist, too. I'm so glad I voted for Kraid on discord.

I love how you used the Zero Mission version of this track, as that one is my favorite due to the choral addition to it.

After 13 years, it's finally here. There's an interesting mix of strong rhythm with some more "unsettling" moments that really shows that you're coming to face what was (back then) a very impressive boss.

Heck yeah, more classic Metroid remixes! Kraid's Lair is just as iconic as the Brinstar theme or Ridley's theme, if you as me, and this sounds so epic, the intro legit gave me chills!

Really good track! Also, I'm not sure how many people noticed it, but at the end you could hear the area transition/elevator theme very lightly playing as the last chord faded off. It was a really nice little detail.

Absolutely outstanding, I completely forgot about that 'to be continued' from the old Brinstar remix but I do remember Kraid's Lair being featured in NES Medley #4 and I've wanted a full remix of it ever since. Love that it sounds like the Zero Mission & Melee versions, plus the Bowser/Zelda plush choir is entertaining!

I remember imagining this song while scuba diving in a place called "the Blue Hole" (not very wide but quite deep) at night, and I was upside down and sinking as silt floated around me. It was surreal.

KRAID KOALITION WE MOVE Ok in all seriousness, I was one of the people who voted Kraid's Lair in the final round of the NES discord request battle (Join, BTW, it's cool). I was originally vote for Solstice's title theme, (and I was pretty confident that it was gonna win), but I decided against it. For those not in the know, Kraid's Lair was the first ever Request Battle loser, being beaten out by Ridley's Theme. As I voted for it against Wily Stage 1, I decided that it would be really, really sad if Kraid lost two request battles. So I voted for it along with some other discord members (known as the Kraid Koalition) and eventually, we were able to turn this underdog of the tourney into the winner. To get a bit sappy here, I'm proud of that, and I think that Kraid deserved it, even though I prefer Solstice as a song. (It'll probably happen someday, Never Let Up! and Departure were also request battle losers.) But anyways, enough about me, let's talk about the cover! The way Kraid's Lair was done was really, really cool, and the usage of the Zero Mission version of the theme was also just insane! The choir being Bowser/Zelda plushies was funny as hell, and while I do think that the lack of a proper solo is a bit of a disappointment, the cover's good enough to make up for that, in my opinion! I love this theme so much, with Zero Mission being one of my Favorite Metroid Games and all... Kind of a shame they didn't reference in Dread. I don't even like Kraid that much, I much prefer Ridley, but it's still so cool to see a giant Space Dino rise from the Ground like that XD This theme is a banger regardless though, it's so wonderfully melancholic and mysterious... While still carrying a sense of urgency to explore deeper in the lair to find Kraid!

Hello Kraid~ Honestly I love the Metroid series, and I've said this before but NONE of the music from the games I could quote to you since it's all so atmospheric. I don't quite jam out to this. But it is good for setting atmosphere. Not much news to report today. Concert last night went better than the one Friday, but it was still mixed since my father kind of ruined it last moment AGAIN for accusing me of messing with his phone when I plugged it into his car port on the ride home. I've been trying to figure out a problem with his gmail app that's been persistent for YEARS since atm him email app takes up over 12.5 GB of storage! It made me stop attempting to fix it for the night rather quick.

Metroid Prime 4 will be here any day now. It's got to be.
