I made some of the lyrics but not knowing the song or then a random song came in my head..

Kraid would’ve been a boss fight if we didn’t have access to super missles.

When this song first began with such a loud, scary, yet exhilarating tone.. i went boom boom in my pants

Took me until this exact listen to realize I actually like this better than the Ridley music. I always felt like it was the opposite, mostly because the fights don't last long enough (see Crocomire), or else you're too busy to pay attention (looking at you Kraid; Phantoon is a little of both), and I never fully appreciated this music, which has to be heard two or three times through before its potency fully sinks in. Ridley's theme is badass and all, but this one is just more powerful, whereas Ridley's theme I'd describe more as "energetic", and outside of a game context the former carries more weight in terms of its ability to move the passions of the listener.

Hello sir do you have a moment to talk about our lord and saviour *super missile?*

Here is a quick comment on my thoughts to all the bosses this theme played to. Kraid (first playthrough): BOI IF YOU DON'T aaah why does he destroy the platforms aaaa fuck you Crocomire (first playthrough): huh, luckily I have a ton of super missiles left. And done! (Thinks to myself: goddamn that death was bru-) AAAAAAH HOLY SHIT IT BROKE THE WALL Phantoon (first playthrough) oh god dangit. Last time I saved was 30 minutes ago! So, let's hope this is easy, i'mma shoot his mouth eye thingie with some super missiles OH MY GOD I CAN'T DODGE THE RAGE FLAMES! Allright, let's use normal missiles then OH NO I DIED FU- Well guess I'll have to play all that shit again. Dammit. (Half an hour later) So, there I did it, I killed you son of a squid. We good now? Kraid (second playthrough): so, I learned this trick to kill him super fast so let's oh shit it doesn't work. Well at least my aim is better now. Crocomire (Second playthrough): oh there that little piece of trash is again. Well let's not get scared of the jumpscare this time OH FUCK THAT WAS SCARY Phantoon (second playthrough): so, I'll not launch super missiles here, so F U C K Y O U I just died again. Let's backtrack another thirty minutes thanks to you little dumb fu-

@Jakester12621 I remember when I was 13 the first time I playerd this I yelled out of shock because of Kraid and the music. I cursed so loud that my family heard me and my dad and brother came in the room looking at me crazy. They all just laughed. It was hilarious.

I like the percussion but the little tooting horn kinda takes me out of it to be honest. I'm not a musician so I can't think of how to describe it other than to say it seems discordant and not in a good way.

The Metroid Dread version is better, this one just doesn't sound very memorable or engaging.
