I'm Polish from Masuria but in love with Krakow. My wife is Mexican and completely crazy about Krakow too... This place is above the nationalities, cultures, religions and truism promotions.... It's real world heritage... Magical place, great deal of history and " simplemente magico". We loved you presentation, was like walking through the city again. And there are some great places close around like Wieliczka or Lagewniki (of Sister Faustina) - Well, the whole region is infused with history and magic. One of the greatest places on the earth. Got back from Poland last week and so far, of the many places in Europe I've visited, Kraków was by far my favourite. Such a beautiful place. Friendly people, great food, fascinating history, I could go on. Definitely a place I'd recommend and in fact, have been recommending to anyone thinking about travelling.
have been in Krakow 3 times and going in 2014 aswell, usually go the start of December when the Christmas market is on in the square, love it, great city :)

Great video. Learnt new things, never knew the green space around the city was a moat!!! I always use your guides when I am in Krakow. I visited in May and absolutely loved it, such a stunning city. Am coming back in 2 weeks time for the Xmas market and to see the city in the winter. Hope it is snowing!

Don't worry, everyone we met spoke English. The city is not really big, like London, so we walked everywhere, which i would recommend as you stumble upon all the old churches. There are day trips to all the major tourist attractions. We went to Auschwitz and also the Salt mines which were so amazing you must go. It's one of those places that you would want to visit again. You'll be fine, don't even worry.
I get the impression that he doesn't have an high opinion of Krakow, mind you he is American and wouldn't understand or appreciate history and culture too much. Krakow is a wonderful City, we are returning in March for a week long visit and can't wait.

He sounds really bored, and also comments like "people selling kitch crap" etc. I live in Krakow and work as a guide and I can say that over my two years all visitors have nothing negative to say about Krakow (unlike other euro cities, eg Prague and Budapest)

very nice! one minor addition: don't take a cab from the central train station , most likely you will be ripped off. I liked the comment about Florianska being full of dodgy clubs, that is unfortunately true ( although you can find one or two decentp laces there, like Pauza ). Unfortunately the same could be applied to Szewska ( although I think it's changing for the better ). I will definitely, chceck your YTY channel for video's about other cities as I found this one pretty precise. GJ!
you forgot to mention that the trumpet play is cut in half becouse the story says they were shot down by archers, so traditionally they still only play the half it, quite interesting story actually :) no disrespect, great videos!
