Kratt's Creatures is probably the most underrated show that PBS Kids ever produced. Quote me! I'm grateful. Between the Kratt Brothers, Jack Hanna and Steve Irwin I was well influenced as a kid. I never made a career with animals or anything but I will always continue to love learning about animals thanks to these guys. Thanks guys! Love & Blessings, from FL!

Ah, Kratt Brothers... I grew up watching Kratt's Creatures, Zaboomafoo, Be the Creature, etc... And now I watch Wild Kratts with my kids. I met Chris and Martin when I was 9 at a meet and greet. We stood in line for hours, it was hot, crowded... Yet every kid left feeling like we personally were the reason they were there. Thanks for the childhood, guys!

Haha that's awesome, the exact same for me when I was a kid. I watched all their shows, now I watch Wild Kratts with my kid. I also met them at one of those when I was like 9 or 10. Exactly how you explained it. ☺

I had a bunch of these shows on VHS tape as a kid and loved them. Zoboomafoo was fantastic too. Steve Irwin and Jack Hanna were great educators, don't get me wrong, but the Kratt Bros. taught me and a whole generation about wildlife.

I am so thankful to have been a kid in the 90s. Between Kratt's Creatures, Bill Nye, and Eyewitness I got to grow up to shows that legitmently cared about kids and wanted them to be interested and grow their curiosity for animals and science!

Eyewitness is great. I never saw it on TV, but my aunt had three episodes of it on VHS, and I watched them more times than I can say.

Wow glad to hear it again after 25 years. Many memories, I watched this on German tv around 1996/97 when I was 10 years old. It was so fascinating for me at the time. I loved the show.

I watched this show for only a short time before it made way for Zoboomafoo, and I was very young at the time, yet I never forgot it. I did love Zoboomafoo as well, but I always missed Kratts' Creatures, and I still do.

I’m seriously surprised they have a RU-vid channel and are still going... like it’s incredible. I remember them as a kid with this show and zooboomafoo, but it’s like wow... I don’t think they will never stop being entertaining!

As someone who watched Zoboomafoo as a toddler and went on to watch Wild Kratts in early elementary school, I think the main reason why Zoboomafoo is more popular than Kratt's Creatures is the structure. The first third of Zoboomafoo is in Animal Junction, the second third is showing real-world examples of the episode's topic out in the wild, and the conclusion is back in Animal Junction. On the other hand, Kratt's Creatures is just the Kratt Brothers in the wild with occasional comments from Allison or Ttark. It's still pretty cool, but it doesn’t have the same charm as Zoboomafoo.

@@matthewallen445 I guess it depends on the age groups. I was familiar with animal documentary styles and shows like Crocodile Hunter, which didn't rely on puppets and stuff. Sure, Steve was a character all his own, he had more energy than the brothers in Kratts Creatures, but I still preferred the original KC over zaboomafoo because it was clear they were targeting a younger audience (closer to toddler and preschool age) with their set up. My point is that there were kids my age that would've been more familiar with the original show yet they never seem to talk about it. That's why I'm confused.

Back in the times Discovery Kids channel were really fun to watch when you watch the Kratt Brothers' Kratt Creatures in the mid 90s late 90s. I grew up watching the epic learning new animals and insects every episode. Fantastic!

Dang man the memories... brings me back to my parent's bedroom (only TV we had in the house) watching this on VHS. Laying on my stomach on the bed, three feet away from the television because it was only 14 inches wide 😂 my dad said I'd "burn my eyes out" 😅

It's actually really cool and inspiring to see them do the thing they love for all these years. And it's not even like they're necessarily trying to recycle the same formula over and over. They're evolving with the times and adapting their shows accordingly. I miss Kratt's Creatures and this unmistakable mid-90's aesthetic so freaking much, but I can't help but be impressed with what they continue to do. And it's really cool to see my sister's kids watching a modern day version of what I used to watch with my sister, from the same freaking people!

0:31 right around here this theme song really gets my hair to stand up on my arms and on my neck, Martin and Chris if you are ever reading this, I want you to know this show was great to me as a kid, so was Zoboomafoo, gotta say it’s still awesome to see you two still going at it with your new show. I do know one thing that will never cease to amaze me is the fact you guys made shows for kids that even now as an adult I come back and revisit from time to time. It’s just awesome stuff!

Used to watch this show when I was little. When I started preschool my parents told me my teacher’s name was Chris and they were going to stop by to meet me (small town was small enough that unless you lived more than half an hour out of town preschool teacher would meet kids beforehand like Hagrid and Harry Potter) and I assumed they meant Chris Kratt was coming to our house and excitedly asked “and Martin too?!”

Ahhh the 90s! I used to love this show when I was a kid. Now as an adult I know useless facts like the peregrine falcon is the fastest member of the animal kingdom, and sea turtles come annually to the beaches of Costa Rica to lay eggs and it’s called the arrinada 💁🏻‍♂️
