This can't even compare to Metal Slug yet it has a certain charm to it and besides, it's 2019, almost 30 years after the launch of the system. People are still dedicated to making games for it, plus doing this isn't exactly a walk in the park. How many people were working on the Metal Slug games compared to this crew? Neo Geo for life!
What it does have over Metal Slug is actual diagonal shooting, which is pretty nice. Metal Slug's art is great but let's face it: the game plays like a wet sack of shit.

I honestly think this game looks interesting. However, i don't like how it is ridiculously hard to get a hold of it since at least at the time of me writing this, it is only available on the Neo Geo and nothing else. And because the devs did not bother porting the game to Dreamcast which is a console i do own,People like me are left behind. I would love to try this game on PC Steam, a 3DS,or even a PS Vita. Cause last time i checked, those consoles are capable enough of running Neo Geo stuff. And before somebody says it, No, i don't care about the Switch so a port on there wouldn't benefit me.
what a poor game... ridiculous bosses, no boss transformation, poor animations (see just the hero moving his legs... is he ... skating ? sliding ?), various enemies that have nothing to do, mixed together (soldiers with mutant creatures.). useless items. one scene where you fight while some soldiers are sleeping on the background... (?) some extra characters in some landscapes (final level for instance.) you do not know who they are, what they do there, they look out of the context, you cannot interact with them, they are ugly. the ending itself is an insult : thanks for playing and ciao. and i could extend the list to dozens of flaws... i had pre-ordered title in aes. had to wait 5 goddamn years for.... this ? ng-dev shame on you. you make your clients pay and wait for years before shipping them some lower than average titles... no way, no way can justify such a policy and business. this will be my last purchase in this company. and i am very ashamed the neo geo has to welcome such a scam. i feel very, very ashamed, and no word to express my disappointment... this is simply unacceptable.
When you paid more than 1,000 euros from ngdev after years of delays, waiting after preorders for a said 'collectors edition' and you get what i got as a consumer and gamer, YES i do have the right to tell my honest and frank opinion : The game itself is poor, looks unfinished and not fun to play at all. Replayability = 0. Objectively the collectors edition is : the regular version + a certificate card + a set of stickers. For around 300 euros more expensive if my memory is correct. This product is a total rip off and deserves its space on your shelf next to your ashita no joe, if you re a gamer. Personally, i would have prefered a full refund for returning them that crap. What a shame to offer such a pity product in such unacceptable conditions.
