After doing the rotational defense to escape a Choke from the Front with a Push, it is important to control the attacker's arms. It makes it more difficult for the assailant to use their hands or arms for a possible secondary attack. It also sets up our own counter attacks. This section of the defense is the most difficult for beginners to perform.
