This is why I think the remake is going to hit home moreso for the fans who played the original back in 1997. Only we can truly appreciate the leap to 2020. I also remember my friends and I being absolutely blown away with the original's opening cinematic. I even remember telling him that one day games would like it does in the opening and he was like "Nah, no way, it'd take too much power" or something and I agreed. I can't believe here are with graphics a million times above that, It's mind blowing.

Yea I believe the newer generation will love it because it's new to them and they probably seen cloud and sephiroth in other games like Kindom Hearts or something so playing his story will be an experience for them, but to us who played the original and seeing where it came from to now....it's going to be a whole other deeper level experience for us! Who would have imagined that games would make it this far and that FF7 would be remade....I can't wait!

I love your reaction bro! It always touches my heart to see how this game has impacted so many people, myself included. Don’t know if you noticed but if you look right before the entire pan out of Midgar slightly to the left, you can see underneath to the slums below by the bridge and so Midgar is actually twice as big as they’re showing! I’m gonna lose my mind 🤯🤯🤯 I cannot wait to play this game either! These other games ain’t cutting it hahahah

The black bird of begin, is Jenova , welcome for the anecdote ;) That's why you can listen to the music that represents Sephirot while Jénova flies through Midgar to meet Cloud and Barret in the reactor of the first Boss, where Cloud can see a black feather fall from the sky.

When Aeris turns surprised and becomes scared, it is because she feels Jénova (the black eagle) traveling Midgar towards the Mako Reactor where Cloud is headed. If you saw Advent Children, you will surely remember Sephirot with black wings ;)

And the attention to detail of it. The hawk even looked ragged and diseased which just gives that feel to the effect Midgar is having on the planet as it’s surrounded by wasteland void of mako. I was stoked for this game but to see how over the top it is just blows my mind. Worth the wait.

The beginning of this trailer gave me Advent Children vibes, and the moment you see the City...DAMN...my heart almost exploded!!! it only shows us that the scope of this "first part" is going to be EPIC. To all the haters that are saying you`ll need 5-6 hours to finish Midgar...yeah right.. Once upon a time i bought a PS1 just to play FF7, now i`m about to by muself a PS4 to play this Masterpiece. Yea I can see myself putting in way over 5 to 6 hours to play and explore thr first part of the remake for sure. FYI this is the game not a cinematic. At the end of this trailer the camera moves behind Cloud and you are controlling him. Everyone's jaw hit the floor when that happened.

Yea I was in my feels with this one lol glad it came off authentic as you said. I do all my reactions blindly so what you get is my real reaction and nothing forced. I'm a legit hardcore FF7 player. I've played the original for thousands of hours. I get very worried for this game. It means more to me than any other piece of media. I get really down at times becauce the trailers are showing too much and spoiling the experience. I'm worried that the side quests will feel like filler. I'm not too keen on the look of the new characters and events either. With all that said... THIS INTRO LOOKS ABSOULTELY PERFECT!! It hit me so hard in the feels. I'm still shaking. I've barely got the tears out of my eyes.

Omg Lomax! I completely forgot to mention that point in my reaction video do the feels it had me in. I agree I feel like they are showing to much, let us experience the rest via game play vs showing us what feels like all the big moments. I'm hoping after many many years of fans wanting a remake of this game it comes out great for us who've played the original and amazing for those who will be playing FF7 for their first time..... fingers crossed.

Theyv worked like 3 times longer on this game than other ffs so im not worried , but i see ur point about the filler stuff . Its 2 discs long , only one other game has 2 discs , red dead 2 , so should be pretty long

@@feherlofia2165 I'm pretty confident this game will be great and the add on stuff will add layers much needed to the remake. Every game has filler in a way, but I think since they are doing the game in parts they can dial in on what add on so that it doesn't feel repetitive or weak.
