So I've seen cartwheel kicks before and they do work. Unless someone has dealt with it before and knows the counters to it. I didn't get to spar the gentleman but I saw him use that kick 3 times on 3 different people. 2 around his age (20s) worked like a charm but the other in his 40s also a higher rank saw it and dodged it with ease. I've personally had someone use it on me and I charged in with a Superman punch as he came back around. Moral of the story cartwheel Kick is an unorthodox attack to throw the opponent off their guard and the only way to beat unorthodox is being unorthodox if that makes sense lol

you really dont i watched cobra kai without watching the karate kid movies and i feel like i know alot about it apart from the character that gets introduced in s5 thats a big part of karate kid 3
