Yep, having 2 assistants (which a lot of people do) makes much more sense. That avocado incident would not have happened if she had someone on that 'shift'. If I'm out with friends in San Diego (2-3 hours away), dropping everything to get avocados would be a bit much.

It’s funny bc my resume matches administrator, bartender , retail , and personal assistant for a real estate person . I work for a solar company now days as an administrator / project management and it’s a really great job.lol
I’m sure her salary is fine without having to be Ellen’s assistant. Plus with all the rumors about Ellen circling around I highly doubt she’d even consider the job....
